Fantastic game. Was up to 2:00 AM on the East Coast watching the Suns and Lakers duke it out. Was going to log on and comment last night as well, but was too lazy to do it.
Grant Hill and Steve Nash are two of the classiest players in NBA history, Those two deserve a championship.
As well as Channing Frye played, he should never play with his back to the basket. That's not his game. I know on both occasions he had a mismatch with Fish guarding him, but he turned the ball over both times when the double team played.
Gortat is a solid center; he's shown that when given minutes, he can be really productive. Phoenix has been looking for a decent big man forever...remember Jake Tsakalidis?
And yeah, that inbounds play was pure crap. Problem with the Suns is that they have no one that can get their own shot. Vince Carter once upon a time, but he's washed up. On two many occasions they were bailed out by Nash making the right pass after dribbling the clock down.
The players on both teams were noticeably gassed during the last two OTs. Granted , Nash is a fantastic player, but I was surprised Gentry didn't put speedy little Aaron Brooks in there for a few minutes.
