ah. sleep well. you'll get a championship again in a few years when the league awards you another "miracle" #1 lottery pick.

Too bad NBA didnt award Denver with a "miracle" #1 lottery pick - mustve thought the team wasnt worthy enough. Then again he probably wouldve bailed on them anyways like all of your other stars...

Yeah I thought they mentioned 5 on TV too but espn says 6 (57-14) vs. (51-20)...probably doesnt matter, Lakers will be tough to be beat.

They can be beat but they are very tough....hoping (praying) Mavs wear them down by the time they face SA....

Mavs don't worry me. Only teams on the west side I can possibly see taking the lakers in 6 or 7 is san antonio and OKC.. But if the Lakers are on their game watch out..

I'm actually pulling for a LA/Chi finals match up at this point.. Would be fun to watch and would be fitting as a farewell to PJ

Yes as a neutral fan I would love to see CHI/LA - they match up very well with each other and would probably go 7...I wouldnt worry about Mavs either as an SA or LA fan, Im realistic, Im just hoping they wear they down...Mavs have NO CHANCE of beating LA...

*takes gun*

*shoots himself in the head*

Stoudamire has ZERO heart.

Trust me man, while he was with the Suns I had much of the same frustrations with him.... just thinking what he "could" be if he gave a damn about THE GAME instead of himself and the money, it is frustrating to see him play less than his potential.

With his athleticism he should be dominating the boards and a nightmare to most people in the paint on both ends of the floor. yet he plays like he came straight from europe.

blah blah blah. same old argument. its not the quantity, its the quality.

denver earns it freethrows by playing agressive and under the basket. if you're watching tonight you should notice the number of times Lawson got hacked without a call. Ginobli on the other hand slips 40 feet from the hoop and gets a call.

watch the number of times denver brings it to the basket, thats why they earn freethrows. Spurs get all the calls away from the basket on ticky tack ____ which is bs.

I remember you calling me crazy and saying that the Nuggets were getting S____y players in the Knicks deal. Now that you've had a chance to breathe and put away your tissues, do you still feel the trade was terrible?

Agreed 100%.

not at all anymore. I admtted a week or so back how surprised and wrong I was.

Though the new players are really playing well the other side of the coin is that now with Melo gone several of the old Nuggets are also stepping up big time. Kenyon Martin looks like the player he was 4-5 years ago. JR Smith is playing well. Birdman is playing well. Then last night Al freaking Harrington lights it up?

No way in the world would I have imagined the chemistry would work this fast.

worthy and scot were injured

That made the biggest difference in the world that year, and I still believe that's the one the BULL shouldn't have got. That gave Scottie the free room to roam and match up with Magic, but some seem to think that didn't make a difference... JOKERS they are...:lol

We get the BULLS this season and I'm telling you it's easy pickens...;)

7!... Never! maybe 6 if we are lucky, but a good chance we'd see 5...:yess:

Problem is that MELO isn't really the kind of player that makes those around him better. He shoots a bad percentage (as far as marquee players go), his defense is a liability, and he's a black hole--refusing to pass the ball.

Makes me LAUGH when people were actually making the argument that they'd rather have Melo than Bron. LMAO

Eh still gotta suit up and play.

Well we did and got our butts kicked..

Worthy and byron were our starting 2 and 3.. that would have been like the bulls playing w/o pip and harp.. I think tony smith stepped up in scotts place.. cant remember who backed up big game james..

its all about key components staying healthy or the ship will quickly sink..

Being healthy is key but I do believe even with every guy playing at full health Chicago wins that. The bulls were the better team, young, and hungry.

Health is a big key as you said Pippen's back was shot during most of the last run again Utah especially.
