That's another Red Headed stepchild beating...:monkey2 That's cold they were yelling MVP chats for D. Rose in the ATL...what a shame. So bad I turned to watch the Baylor vs. West Virginia women's game.

Yeah, down by 20 at half, and there is a chance to cut it down by the 4th, but going down 30+ with D-Rose hitting 3Pt buzzer beaters is ugly :monkey2

I had to pop on MvC3 to get through the 2nd half.

LMAO!!!

I just read your name and motto and that stuff is too f'ing funny! "Combining to kick ass!" To much bro, see you back here after this game.

Hahah thanks yo! :1-1: Dev is my fave decepticon but they made him sucky in the movie. :panic: But yea see ya after the game. :wave

At one point when it was close to 50 I was like man someone call off the dogs. :lol

:slap Yea it was getting that bad man...like depressingly bad. Sucks too for the announcers cuz you know they are as bored as us lol! :rotfl

Whats bad is they didn't win the 4th by much and Chicago played its bench (which is pretty good mind you) the entire time. Its like they totally rolled over and quit. I'm sure they were. :lol I've coached a game that went very similar to this (on the losing end) and its pretty painful.

:monkey2 Yea kinda sad. They seemed like they wanted to just get outta there, but i guess the barrage in the beginning knocked the wind out, especially the way the 2nd qtr ended. :monkey2

Aww man, i've played on losing teams too (in city leagues) and I know how it feels too to get totally blasted. :( But not as bad as the hawks though :lol

Yeah, seems like that just broke their spirit and that was all she wrote.

Yup, no fun at all. Its a pretty helpless feeling when you know you're kids are done and you can't do anything about it.

hahaha yea no fun at all man, it must be tough as the coach as to what to say after a loss like that, but im sure you handled it well

I think the same thing is gonna happen for the Hawks in the playoffs. They will fight for a bit, then slowly bow out. It's happened the last to playoffs. I def think the bulls are in the mix for the East finals. I still think it could be them or celtics in the NBA finals.

For the west, I still think it could be Spurs and Lakers in the west finals. Depending on how bad Timmy is hurt, I think they still have the find a way to get through at least the 1st two rounds. I didnt see how bad he was hurt but hasnt parker and ginobili been doing a lot of the "heavy lifting" lately?

Basically you just try to remind them that its just one game and then move on the next day in practice. Its probably the least mad I've ever been coaching a game cause you can't get mad.

The Hawks have talent but I just don't think they have enough fight in them as you said. Oh I think Chicago can very easily get to the East finals and have a strong chance to get to the NBA finals.

Agreed on the West. Its either LA or San as both teams are really good in all phases of the game. He twisted his ankle and it looked like a standard roll so he should be fine and he's not the #1 option anymore so they should be fine.

Well said, Im a FIns fan because of Marino, and the Mark's brothers. Theyve had it bad since Marino hung em up, but I wont turn on them

Pens, Knicks, Mets and Fins, Ive lived to see two of the four win championships, and might have seen all four win if Stoyanavich hits that 40 something yarder against the chargers, and John Starks didnt suck genormous monkey nuts

Yes the Marks brothers...loved those guys!

I remember being near tears when Stoyanavich missed that! He's been pretty much automatic his whole career. And then Ace Ventura came out and it was like art imitating life...LACES OUT! And the freaking Bills would crush our hearts every Winter...god I have those guys..it was REALLY awkward when Thurman Thomas played for us that one year...

And then the whole Ricky Williams debacle when he quit when we started to really put a nice offense together with our very good D..that set us back like 10 years...

I was really surprised when they brought Sparano back...I thought he was gone for sure...Im not sure where we're going now. If only we picked Brees over Culpepper a few years back...I can go on and on with all the mistakes this franchise has made over the years...

I did enjoy watching the A's as a kid because I really liked Ricky and Big Mac. Two of my favorite players.

Yep, kinda sad to see the whole steroid thing tainted their legacy but... it is what it is. I can still enjoy the memories...and Rickey was unaffected by all that crap....

I can't believe it jstep... we actually like the same football team?!

God my dolphins suck. Thank god for the Heat.

Wow who wouldve thought, never occurred to me you might be a Fin Fan as well since youre in FLA. Maybe youre not so bad after all :) Maybe we can tag team the NFL board sometime and give 'em hell :1-1:

Yeah the talk is at least 2 weeks - thank god no fracture or anything. You're right if Manu or TP wouldve gone down this late in the season it wouldve been a bad situation but Duncan's numbers are very pedestrian this season so Im not too worried although we do need all the big guys we can get because the Lakers' bigs are gonna manhandle us during the playoffs...

Okay cool, so that should mean he'll just rest for the rest of the regular season. Yea I think an injury to either of them would have been more disastrous for the spurs. Timmy's numbers have been down but still cant count out his size and experience. Rather have him then Bonner out there. :monkey1 Although Bonner can still bomb it from 3 :lol

It is sad. They were just fun to watch and knowing that it was kind of a sham sucks but ah well. Rickey wasn't on any of that other than his own huge ego but thats kind of what made him fun back then.

Thats true...the red rocket is no Big Fundamental!

Yeah Rickey was definitely a special cat...there will never be another #24...
