Look at guys like Terrell Owens, Allen Iverson, Lebron, and Ron Artest. Professional athletes get more attention and fame the more juvenile they behave. Why would they start acting professionally now?

Yup, pretty damn sad. I know of no other team now or in the past that needed to be treated like a bunch of 5th graders.

Oh, I get it but that doesn't mean that someone posting about it and calling them out makes them stupid or a Cleveland fan who hasn't had sex for about 20 years. That post sounded more personal and the guy used this as his excuse to attack.

nah it has nothing to do with Heat, Balboa just likes to call all my posts stupid. I could be talking about orange juice or pine cones and he'll say the same. its convenient way for him to vent his own personal frustrations and get some attention, no worries.

Bah, management f'd up the team when they had something good going. Then, the team gets sold to the NBA. It probably won't be in NO much longer. Probably affects morale pretty strongly when no fans show up, and you have no idea where you're going to be living next year. Jindal doesn't want to bail the team out, and rightly so in this economy. Unfortunately, this just isn't a big enough or rich enough city to support an NBA team I suppose.

im still suprised that NO and GS would be sold before Sacramento, but do we even know that they will be moving anywhere? I just hope they dont start moving teams internationally

NO could potentially stay if ticket sales get up high enough soon enough. From my understanding, they have to fall below a certain threshold in order for the team to be able to move. But unless they get lots of butts in the seats fast (which isn't likely to happen), then the team can move and probably will.

New Orleans loves the Saints, but the Hornets never really caught on the same way. Too bad, but if they move, I can't blame them for doing so.

Good bye Sasha..... :wave Thanks for making those crucial free throws in the finals. Wish nothing but the best for you in Jersey with your buddy Farmar.....

Bulls win again, 7 in a row now. Boozer with another monster game, man that guy sure is OVERRATED! (snicker)

Happy holidays from the NBA :lol

Noah..........out with thumb surgery..........up to 10 weeks. Kobe played through it :dunno

Kobe had a issue in a different finger. Noah is a big guy and gets beat on all the time don low its a different issue for a big guy. Hate to lose him as we're playing lights out but we'll be fine.

yea but Kobe has the ball in his hands all the time and takes like what 20 shots a game. That injury was on his shooting hand. Noah is not needed for shooting or dribbling the ball. Noah is their anchor on defense, they have to run and gun now or their not going to score enough to win.

Have you ever played basketball? :lol You gotta have two working hands to play in the post. Especially at the NBA level to rebound, block shots, pass, score, box out, etc. Noah is a big part but we will not have to run and gun to score. We have MORE than enough talent to be just fine till he gets back.

he doesnt have a busted hand, its a finger, and yes i have have played basketball for half of my life. You need two hands, but not 10 fingers. Chicago doesnt need to run and gun for offense, they will need it to make up for the increased amount of points their defense will give up. Boozer cant block shots or take charges, so he isnt gonna make a difference on the defenseive end with Noah gone.

Well, acting like its no biggie makes me wonder. Its his thumb. Pretty important finger believe it or not. Sliced mine open a few years back and had to get stitches couldn't use my entire hand for a few days. If he has a a torn ligament in his thumb and making it hard to do anything better to get it done now. Especially if it can get worse. I doubt they give up much more than what they're doing now. Boozer will be just fine on defense he's not bad at it to start. Not to mention the other guys aren't bad on D either. This is a very good team that plays with the mindset playing good D is a big deal. It hurts but we'll be just fine.

Most normal players take time out to tend to thier injuries. Shaq would sit out if he had a hangnail. Kobe's not normal. Unless it's a knee he aint coming out. Most players for that matter arent the ones making those decisions anyway.

Its better to take the time off now, early in the season, than let it linger through the balance of the season and the playoffs and hinder your team's performance and possibly further aggravate the injury. Noah absolutely did the right thing.

Wow, whatta game. Manu, M-frickin' V-P. 2 nights in a row. It is SO FUN for Spurs fans right now :clap
