Orlando is downright scary. They have so much more team balance than the Cavs. Lebron scored like 50 points and they still lost. Admittedly the Cavs guards were off tonight but still, if King James can't keep up that kind of scoring pace, Orlando looks in position to take the Series. The Magic have won 9 out of the last 12 games between them. And are 3-1 against them this season I think.

missed ORL vs CLE game 1. I was out watching star trek...but came home very surprised to see the magic edge out the cavs.

:lecture Cavs dominated the first half, second half not so much. Orlando team balance > Cavs team balance. Cavs better find a way to rectify or it could be a long series. I am not willing to say Cavs lose the series from one game but Orlando came to play.

Great game last night. Game 2 is a must win for the Cavs if they wanna have any chance in this series.

Lebron pulled a Peyton Manning at the end, holding his knees and whatnot so he can have an excuse. :lol

I don't think so. I've never once heard the kid make an excuse before about losing. Lebron lets his game do the talking for him.

Orlando was fired up for game 1. I think you will see them fall back into who they where in the last series which will get them killed by the Cavs.

:lecture I agree.

GO CAVS & NUGGETS!!!!!! :rock

He said volumes by sitting on the court after the game and to me it was as good as making an excuse.

You give the Cavs entirely too much credit, James is ALL they have and Orlando has exposed that. 49 points and they still lost.

Sounds familiar. Who could that have been a year or 2 ago?

I wouldn't say all the Cavs are scrubs, but they are not a playoff team without Lebron.

Ilgauskus can be a very good scorer some days. Also Mo Williams aint chopped liver.

I think the Cavs got this series in 6. Next game will be a blow out even with Lebron scoring less points than last night.

Also, I think its unfair to say James was making excuses for a loss by being hurt. Maybe he was disappointed in the loss and wanted to contimplate it. Whats wrong with that? Is it preferable to slap one of your teammates upside the head like Kobe?
I don;t think for a second anyone is going to question Lebron's heart or his passion for the team. His play on the court speaks for itself.

I think your correct LBJ spoke volume sitting on the court after the game. I do not think it was an excuse moreso being p!ssed and re-grouping after a tough loss. Their second "true" loss at home all season came in the playoffs to team with their number. Not to mention during the Lakers / Nuggets game they kept flashing the stat 80% of game 1 winners take the series. A lot of stuff for "The King" to ponder before game 2.

Orlando has won, what 9 of the last 13 against them? I think they can take the series.

I wouldn't say he was making an excuse if he just sat their on the court with his head down for a minute then got up and walked off. But he kept touching his leg and visibly showing discomfort, even the trainers went out there to check on him. I do agree though that this loss gave him a LOT to think about.

I think it was nothing more than him being ticked about losing. I think it personally speaks volumes that he wants to win and losing bothers the hell out of him.

The Cavs are a solid team. They may not be a team full of superstars but they have what IMO is the best player in the league with guys who do their job pretty well around him. Those teams tend to do pretty well over the long run.

I think you're giving Orlando way too much credit for one game. They went in and got a win at the very end of the game. Its not like they won the thing by 30 points.

That's the thing though, Cleveland threw EVERYTHING at them and they still lost. I watched a good portion of the first half and it looked like they were gonna blow the Magic out. How much more in the zone do they have to play to beat them? Another thing, if Lebron keeps playing too many minutes he is gonna wear himself out, not a good thing for his team.

Once again Orlando has won something like 9 of 13 from the Cavs.

I don't believe this "threw everything at them and lost" stuff.

Every game is different. One game you can obstensibly seem to be hitting on all cylinders and lose. The next you might seem to be coasting and win. Who knows why. Too many factors. And then you're talking like Orlando is an invincible powerhouse that the Cavs need to overcome? The Magic are pretty fragile sometimes. They lose 1 game and that team might completely fall apart. Who knows.

I agree the trend seems the Magic have their number...but there are lots of games to go. I think Lebron and the Cavs have it in them to win the next 2 or 3 games.

Cleveland had every opportunity to put them away early, they didn't capitalize on that. They had momentum on their side, the crowd was pumped and they were hitting on all cylinders. So why did they lose then?

The Cavs have lost home court and you can't ignore the stat, the winner of Game 1 wins the series 79% of the time.

I really shoudn't care so much, I just don't care much for Lebron, all that ^^^^ about 'King James' annoyed the ^^^^ out of me when he hadn't proven a damn thing.

Everything in that game. Every game is a whole new ball of wax. Seen too many games where teams one time looked like world beaters and won by a mile only to come out and get dominated the next game. I've seen plenty of games where one team in one half looked sure to win only to lose much as was the case last night. Heck, take your lakers for example they couldn't decide in the last series which team they wanted to be. Yet, they still managed to win the series.

How many of those came in playoff time? Regular season games are very important but their are so many factors into when teams match up and whats going on.

I like the Cavs in 6.

Ill, your bitterness makes you unobjective. :)

But anyway, I don't know why the Cavs lost that one, but I really don't think it speaks to every other game left in the series.

So if Cleveland wins tomorrow despite playing a less impressive game, does that then reverse your opinion and say that Cleveland can win the series even without playing well?

Your theory would mean more if Orlando clubbed the Cavs to death despite the Cavs giving all they had, but the truth is it was a measily point.

Anyway, the 9 of 13 means more than the one game. But I still see Cleveland as the favorite even now. If Orlando gets a 2-0 or 3-1 lead I'll believe you, but 1 game lead is nothing.

1 game showed a lot. The game was the tale of two teams. The first half Cavs destroyed Orlando with great defense. The second half Orlando owned the Cavs by exploiting their defense. IMO depends which team makes the right adjustments and which team shows up the remainder of the series will win.

I have a bais for the Cavs, I am hoping Mike Brown, Lebron and Co. pull it together and take the series. Should be fun to watch (I hope).
