BRING IT ON!!!

Remember Phil Jackson teams are 50-0 when he wins game 1 in a playoff series..

:D

when we win game 2 and 3 in SA I'll check back in w/ you.. LOL~!~

you do that, but i'm not one acting like an @#$, I'm just saying it's a long way from being over, even if the Spurs don't win this year it's okay, can't win every year (even though these days we basically do)

Dude, chiiiiill.

Who's acting like an ass?

We're just happy that our team won last night. Nobody has said that last night's game means the series is over, there is still a lot of ball to be played.

Sorry guys, but Detroit in 6. They'll steal tonight's game in Boston, take their two home games, lose to Boston back there in game 5, and win at home in game 6.

Go Celtics :D

I would have to agree. Boston can't win a game on the road to save their lives. So I think it will be Detroit in 6.

Nah... I have to believe in my team... Detroit will not win tonight... I am sending my winning vibes out. hehe After the season we had... we deserve to win it all :D

Games can change in no time... all we need is one win on the road to boost their confidence and win another one on the road hehe

I have to believe in my deep hatred of everything Celtics. Sorry, but my veins bleed Purple and Gold. :D Plus, Detroit is a proven winner, been to the Eastern Conference Finals like five straight years.

That just proves they were there enough times... time to move over for someone else. :mwaha

I am so used to people hating my Patriots, the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Bruins... all I say is WHATEVER :D

We just sucked so bad last year... and this year is a complete turn around. So they deserve to go on.

Nash isn't a Spurs fan.

However I am, I love how you guys are acting like the series is over, you won ONE GAME. On your homecourt no less. I mean, did everyone forget the last series? SA lost two on the road and still came back to win, this ain't over by a long shot.... and considering how hard it was to beat the Spurs in LA, I'd be worried then happy. I won't say the Lakers got lucky because I think thats easy to say in retrospect, however what happened tonight won't happen again.

:lecture

Im still here bodie dont worry. I feel no disappointment that the spurs lost, but it was pretty sad to see a veteran team lose with a 20 point lead in the middle of the 3rd.

You counted the spurs out of the NOH series when they were 0-2 and now youre doing the same. I just cant wait for the lakers to go home and see what excuses you come up with this year. :lol

The Lakers won because they have the best individual player in basketball and the rules of the game lend themselves to a single player taking over the game. That is the way the commissioner wants it and has wanted it since the days of Jordan. Its sad that the game has devolved to that point but its a fact of life. Over a seven game series, I have always believed that the better team will win most of the time. However, Cleveland over Detroit last year showed me that when a great individual player is red hot- anything can happen. How many times can Bryant do this? If you can answer than question then you can see who will win this series.

Spurs have never won back to back.. correct me if I'm wrong.. You must have been thinking of the Lakers 3 peat..

And yes this is far from over, yet no matter how you slice it being up by 20 1/2 way thru the 3rd and losing is a devastating loss..

Parker, Manu and Duncan are awesome players, and in my book still young, however the rest of the team is showing their age..

I might have, yet should have known better.. I was high on CP3... 1st 2 games are always a wash unless the road team wins both.. It usually doesn not start to get interesting until game 3..

On a side note... Playoffs tend to magnify teams weaknesses.. With that said, Boston does not look that great.. I think part of the problem is bad coaching.. They seem to have no plays..

I think Boston looked pretty good in game 1. they just need Ray Allen to show up to the games, instead of that imposter that has been playing in the playoffs until now.

They never won back to to back, but they won 4 championships in the last 10 years, not bad. Plus overall they have the best % in the NBA since Duncan joined.

Pistons bounced back rather nicely. Now the Celtics must do something they have not done yet in the playoffs - win on the road.
