watched it last night. After seeing I guess I can see why the players didn't want Isiah on the team. Even if he was allowed, who would he of replaced? It was a damn solid team from top to bottom.

I don't see where Isiah would have fit on this team. That team had the perfect balance of every thing that's needed on a team. Even down to the rookie to do all the luggage carrying and doughnut chasing.

my brother warned me that coach K spills the beans about santa and the easter bunny so i have to make sure my kids aren't in the room while i watch it, lol

Well they wanted at least one college player on the team(As far as I understand it), so couldn't of been him.

No but the fact that shaq (who, history showed, deserves to have been included) was omitted in favor of laetner is laughable.

Lebron was praying before the game and i can see his wristband say I promise. I wonder promise what?

Nice! Bring it back to the 3-oh-5!

Btw, gotta hand it to the fans in OKC... Those are great fans.

Of course history teaches us a lot after the fact, truth is at the time, Laettner was clearly the right selection for the team...

If you are arguing the result, id say it's not like laetners presence was the deciding factor...pretty sure dream team wins by 40 with shaq in there too.

Never mentioned anything about result. I was only referring to your monday morning quarterback reference to Shaq being a better selection than Laettner which, at the time, he absolutely was not...

Yeah, at the time Shaq wasn't the choice. Laettner at the time was one of the biggest names in college basketball coming off a couple of NCAA titles.
