I didn't call you a loser.... You're just a fan of one (2012 lakers).

My team did lose but you should be thankful of a freak injury to DRose otherwise I think we all know we'd be having a different conversation. Also just so you remember 6 > 1 and 6 > 2.

Right because Derrick Rose by himself ... Or excuse me...with Rip Hamilton... Would have been more formidable than OKC? Pffff. I'm not sure the Bulls would've gotten by the celtics.

If that's what you gotta tell yourself. :lol

If the heat stay healthy, I don't see how any team in the NBA is gonna beat them next year...unless the Lakers get Howard. But we all know that isn't going to happen...

Well the Heat did go to 7 with Boston. There isn't exactly parity in the NBA, but from year to year there's gonna be a handful of teams that have a legit chance of winning.

You HAVE to realize that they played 4.5 games in that series without BOSH. Which AVERAGED a double double in finals and was only Heat player taller than 6'10"

In fact in the 2 games where Bosh played starter minutes the Heat out scored Boston by 30 points

It's an X factor. There are many of those every year. Short season may have played to the Heat's advantage as well, and that won't be happening next year.

howard is a puss and doesnt want to be here..

cba has us crippled w. salary issues until 2014 in which our payroll is at $0. until then itll be a similar team minus what we get for pau(not much at 19 mill under the new cba no one wants to really touch that).

Unless teams upgrade or change up their rosters, I can't see any teams beating the Heat. The Bulls are great but are sorely lacking in offense. The Celtics are another year older and Bosh wasn't playing in most of that series. The Lakers are old and just don't have a well rounded enough team(this is coming from a hardcore Laker fan). The Spurs are too old as well. The Thunder need to upgrade at their bigs IMO...too much perimeter scoring and not enough inside offense. The Clippers could contend if they mature like crazy and Griffin becomes MUCH more consistent with a midrange game.

ah, great night, great night. Just some thoughts. First off, don't care about the Jordan comparisons. It's foolish to compare anyone to Jordan. I have to say, when Bosh went down, I'll admit I thought they were done. No team or player (Lebron) had ever been under so much pressure in NBA history, and they came back after being down to Indiana, Boston and OKC. This team showed toughness we all thought they didn't have.

I also don't care who still hates Lebron or not. There's never been one athlete I wanted to win at least 1 as bad as I wanted Lebron to win. One thing we can all agree on, is he has matured a lot from last year, you can see it in his game and his leadership. When it mattered most, he had amazing games. Game 6 in Boston and last night's triple double come to mind. I just love how all the haters are so upset about Lebron winning, that's the best part.

OKC is young and super talented. I just think Miami knew what it took to win at this stage, that experience was crucial. Durant and Westbrook played as hard as they could and I thought they were the better TEAM, but it was guys like Battier, Miller and Chalmers who came up BIG when nobody else on the OKC could but the big 2. Durant put up great numbers and they will have their day when they win one or multiple titles. I'm super glad we will get a pissed off Durant and Westbrook when we go and win gold at the Olympics this year, giving Lebron MVP, Finals MVP and another gold metal in one year.

Howard is just as immature as Lebron WAS. Until that changes, he won't win either. Problem for LA is, Bynum is just as bad.

Depends where Howard ends up going. Chi should have been willing to give up everyone but Rose to get him. Heat still have big flaws. They need a quality center and I would love for them to get Nash to come off the bench, so Lebron and Wade can get more rest. I don't know how Miami got away with playing Battier at the 4 in so many series and no team could take advantage of it, so they really need that center. OKC will be back next year, no doubt. Indiana will be a solid, tough team, but they need that superstar. I found it ironic that Fisher had 2 chances to join Miami to chase another title, and he missed out.
