They're holding off trading Dwight because they feel like they're not getting anything good, and the Lakers are talking with Andrew and his agent about a contract extension. The Magic better hurry and do something. Otherwise they're getting squat if Dwight stays with the Magic.

If he stays with the Magic after next season, he's signing with the Mavs. I highly doubt he's going to be in a Magic uniform for another season. So the Lakers are in the driver's seat.

Lakers said they would take Jason Richardson's contract, but he and Nash have some beef with each other. But I thought he would have been a good backup behind Kobe.

We'll see what the Magic do..

J-rich was traded by the Suns because his contract was ridiculous compared to what he was producing for them. He was brought in to be like a Joe Johnson type of player, but he never delivered the goods.

I've seen the pictures of Nash's kids.... I'm fully aware.

I don't care if it's not true or not, but the Lakers said they wouldn't take Richardson in a Dwight deal because of a "personal issue" with Nash. It could be or it couldn't be because of that rumor.
