It's a nice enough figure, but the way the legs are too far apart at the crotch (& look kinda short as well) & the cowl ears sloping inwards at the top, are 'cannot be unseen' things for me at this point.

I don't think NECA made ang changes to the headsculpt since Toyfair, it's all about camera angles,lens and lighting

The figure itself is awesome and NECA completely schooled Hot Toys by including a foldable Batarang
The cape does have any hidden wires like Hot Toys but beyond that is pretty similar

Overall this is a great Batman figure and it definitely honors the one true Batman - Michael Keaton in 1:4 scale

Nah.. it's a huge figure - & they're obviously trying to go for a decent level of realism on top of that, so getting the proportions right for a figure this size should be a no brainer.

It's more than achievable on little 4" figures, so I don't agree with your comment at all.

That's fine. You're free to disagree, but like I said for the price of this compared to HT and Enterbay this is still an unbelievable achievement on NECA's part as far as I'm concerned.

Expecting it to be like a HT or Enterbay figure is beside the point - I don't think anyone expects that.

Correct proportions are quite easy to achieve - that's the point, whether it's a $150 figure or a $15 figure.

I didn't say it was a bad figure though, did I?

Now listed as IN STOCK at NECA's ebay store... ...even though I have multiples on order at my local comic shop (and will still buy them all when they come in), I snagged one from the ebay shop. I figure I can always use an extra boxed one! Can't wait for him to arrive!!!!

I mostly just lurk around here but man, that looks SO good it pulled me outta the woodwork! Can't wait for my preorder to arrive at the comic shop! This is the Batman toy I've wanted since I was 7 years old! It's singlehandedly turning me into a NECA fanboy.


Oy, if they somehow got the license to do an OT Darth Vader and it came out as good as this looks...

Man, he looks awesome in those pics! So awesome in fact, that I also just went to NECA's eBay store and picked one up I've also got a couple of these preordered at BBTS, but I'd rather get this guy sooner than later as I've wanted an awesome Keaton batman since I was 8 years old!!

Despite the price difference, I'm pretty confident he'll hold his own next to my EB and HT 1/4 scale batman figures. His proportions look great to me and he's definitely a must have figure for any fan on the 1989 movie. Hope they ship him soon!!

The cowl colour seems to be the wrong shade, sadly. Body and cape matches.
