Sorry to see that you got one with an issue, jye4ever. I hope you get a replacement.

As for the figure not being able stand up for too long, I think it's the ankle joints having too much give/range. Just like the previous NECA 18" figures, this is very top-heavy and it's just too much for the ankles to support. I think the soft plastic cover on top of Keaton Bat's shoe/boot helps a bit, but it can only do so much. Even on the stand I gave him I noticed that my Keaton Batman starts leaning ala Smooth Criminal overtime. I decided to glue his ankles shut, and now he can stand fine with or without the base.

Finally arrived today.

I'm bummed out.

I get one with perfect eyes but his torso is crooked and can't be corrected.

His right hip joint also sticks out but that's not as bad as the torso:

Mine is kinda of similar but rather than a crooked joint it seems the rubber overlay has been glued on at an angle. It's kinda of disheartening especially as the rest of it seems perfect.

Being from the UK too Neca support is pretty much non existent, and by the time I've returned it to the store I ordered (paying the return postage too) it just doesn't seem worth the hassle. Might be the first and last 1/4 I buy from them though, too much money to be throwing down on the roulette wheel that is Neca's quality control

Man seeing these screwed up Bats are putting me off the figure and with me going to buy him online then the chances of getting a screwed up one are 50/50 I'm guessing.

Received mine today. Not blown away by it. Just seems like a giant toy to me. I liked the Hot Toys one much much better. I paid $63 shipped for the NECA one, I was happier paying $239 for the Hot toys one 2 years ago.

It seems that you're expecting that an 18-inch figure worth $63 would have the same quality as the other figure which is 6 inch shorter but almost 4x the cost. We all want value at any given price of course, but at a more realistic sense :)

$63 is an insane price! I paid the UK equivalent of $110 and thought that was a bargain.

For what it is it's still probably the best pound for pound figure I've bought in a long time. I've had the DX09 and it's a great figure but aesthically it didn't get everything right. The stock cape is a nightmare compared to the neca, it has that stylized "ideal" look that hot toys has a tendency to do (the cowl texture and seam for example) and I can actually pose this in the wings out pose without destroying the suit. There's even something about the headsculpt that I prefer on the Neca, I don't know if it's the shape of the cowl or what.

When it comes down to it, I can put this next to the DX09 or Enterbay Bats (which I have atm) and yes you could see a difference in quality but a 200-300 dollar difference? I think anyone would be hard pushed to find that

Yeah this guy -

:lol

Anyways that is a fantastic pic mate and is swinging me back to picking him up.

Mine is going back to BBTS for an inspected replacement.

They asked me to first try fixing my crooked Batman by reposing his legs.

You guys and gals should've seen the poses I had him in trying to get his torso straight. :lol

It was rather comical, the extreme leg poses would almost straighten him out but at the expense of stability, he could not stand. :slap

You should have taken some pics mate.

It sounds like your Batman had some workout.

Surely you will get a new one?
