This is what most excites me about this potential line of future Marvel comics characters.

NECA is pleased to announce an amazing addition to their 1/4 scale figure product line: the acquisition of the Marvel comics license for both comic book & feature films! The second will be Robert Downey Jr. as Iron-Man in the Mark VII armor as seen in 2012 #1 film, The Avengers. The figure stands approximately 18 1/4" tall and features over 25 points of articulation, incredible movie accurate detail, and LEDs on the eyes, chest, and palms. Window boxed packaging. WK088

I don't get how IM could come even in April when the Toy Fair display said pending approval.

I just preordered from CSC this morning. I should have probably waited and did it at BBTS. I guess I'll just keep it at CSC since they charge a cancellation fee. I've never used them before so hopefully nothing goes wrong.

I'm leaning heavily towards getting into this but I'd like some Cap owners to chime in on something for me. I've never seen these up close and I don't have a place around here to check it out in person.

Is it really toyish in person? Some pics make the facial sculpt look awesome but I can't get a good feel for the body and joints. I've normally collected statues but I'm real intrigued by these because of size, price, and those pics by jye4ever.

It's an $85.00 1/4 poseable Captain America, what could possibly be deterring you from making up your mind.

Buy it before it's too late and you end up regretting it.

Its not toyish at all. It looks like a great statue and the face sculpt as well as the whole body sculpt is superb. It's a steal at under $100.00 too. Looks like Chris Evans as well.

You haven't met my wife! But...that's the beauty of having UPS hold my deliveries for pick up.

I'm going for it. The appeal of putting Cap and IM back to back is too great.

my wife just giggles at me by this point (10.5 married)

My biggest gripe with this Cap is that Chris Evan was too thin for Cap.

Mine came with one paint nick on his rear leg, I caused one on his head when it fell.
