Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

Anyone seen this video? I noticed that the reviewer's box says "SPECIAL EDITION" which I don't remember seeing on the one I was holding last night. I wonder if there's supposed to be a difference on the figures?

Looking at the clip there it's actually not all that hot.
Shoulders pads look awful...the thing is just a bit off.

Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

its the articulation point that is the issue with the shoulder pads. they are too far out. its that way to help with arm articulation.

people are already modding them to sit closer/better angle. its just takes repositioning to get them in.

I showed these pictures to my customiser and he is confident he can recreate this for me. Can't wait to get this thing. I'll be getting two :)

I just think it's funny how they always shoot as to not show RDJ's height. Notice when he walks past Thor and makes the "Point Break" comment, they shot that from a low angle. Since Hemsworth is 6'3" and at least 6" taller than RDJ.

Yup, also during scenes with Gwyneth Paltrow to make him look much taller than her. Reminds me too of how camera angles worked for Hardy as Bane.
