If the discussion is about accuracy why chime in why you admittedly have no clue about what's accurate and what isn't? If you like it as is, great. But it's kinda stupid to get mad at people who DO know what's accurate and what isn't and can clearly see the visor on that Bio is wonky. And remember: this is a big ass piece. So it's not something that'll only be noticeable from hi-res pics. It'll be noticeable in-hand.

And it's not like NECA had to take liberties in making the Bio i.e. they din't have to make it fit a Predator face. Since the Bio isn't removable they didn't have to worry about that.

And with all the accuracy/detail talk from Tankman you'd think something that obvious and apparent wouldn't be missed.

Doesn't sound like a deal breaker though.. I think everyone who was planning on buying still will. So it's just conversation to pass the time.

I just hate people who _____ about little details. Cant help it. ____ aint perfect. Dont like it on Hot Toys threads, Star Wars threads, Alien threads, Terminator threads....ect.

Awesome. That's why NECA rules, you guys really go that extra mile and do whatever you can to make the best figure possible.

If i can ask, was the original 1/4 mask a new a sculpt? Or was it the original sculpt, and the enlarging process accentuated the visor gap in that larger scale?

The mask is the same but our tooling guys made it separate in two areas that they didn't do on the smaller one. They left that one in one piece. I bet they separated it so it would be easier to paint the eyes but they didn't put the top half down into the lower half far enough. I hope it gets fixed.

The mask is the same but our tooling guys made it separate in two areas that they didn't do on the smaller one. They left that one in one piece. I bet they separated it so it would be easier to paint the eyes but they didn't put the top half down into the lower half far enough. I hope it gets fixed.

Yeah, that makes sense as to why it would be like that. Thanks for the answer, I love finding out about all of the cool behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into the production of these awesome figures.

The amount of designing, sculpting, tooling and engineering that goes into just one figure is incredible. And with figures as complex as these Predators, all of them have came out just amazing. You and everyone else at NECA really do outstanding work, and all of your hard work and efforts are definitely appreciated!

as far as i can tell, everybody is still selling these. and even if this run sells out, NECA will make more. NECA isn't Hot Toys, procrastinate away. and you might as well get all 3. they're dirt cheap and you'll never be satisfied with just one look.

I was thinking that too while watching the video. NECA could so destroy HT if they wanted to.. Atleast with Predators.

Those who prefer HT would still continue doing so because of the $150+ they pay for each one, they wouldn't let them be one upped by some little $40 neca toy

I still think neca should do at least ONE 1/6th predator, just to prove that they can actually pull it off... just one!

With Aliens, too. Screw rubber bodies, I'm fine with showy joints if the sculpts are ace and they gave them the same poseability as the Preds.
