NECA 1/4 scale predator

By the way just to show you that I'm not a total NECA fanboy, I have never bought nor will I ever buy any of their 7" Preds.

The details on these creatures cannot be adequately exemplified on such a small, and mass-produced, scale thus, well, they suck lol.

The only small Preds I own are the McFarlane ones and they're in the closet right now...way in the back, probably under some blankets.

I only bought them because I was just excited that someone was doing Pred figures but now I think they're horrible.

I own all of the 12" McFarlane Preds and while I like them the P1 Pred looks like it was painted by a drunk schizophrenic who was having some sort of seizure.

Yes I always thought that about the P1 from McFarlane, actually I think their figures are quite ugly, the preds are not that great, the P1 is a mess, I used to suffer that I missed out but im so glad I didnt buy it,

I only own one Neca Pred, the one that came in the double pack with the alien, it was released very recently, it came with a predator skull and an alien skull, and I have the Cloaked version of Berserker

Hmm, I don't know how 5000 of each spreads around the world evenly. I still think we'll see these around for awhile though. Impulse buyers might not see them for weeks/ months after the release.

Well now that we know NECA has the license to make large-scale Preds I see no reason why we wouldn't get either of those in 1:4 somewhere down the line if these sell well.

Oh yeah sure, I Dreamed about having a collection of their preds, I just really wanted to have their alien and pred figures, but never got them, I still have the McFarlane Crow, and I had about 4 12 inch Spawn, but I sold some of them, I also have like 4-5 7 inch spawn figures,
I guess McFarlane raised the bar higher than they themselves could be in quality,

I don't think he did. All I know is, someone in the world has that figure trapped in it's box and it's needs to be opened.

I wish someone would open that damned thing already, I mean they don't even need to undo the thousands of twist ties I'm sure this thing is going to have (Christ that's going to be a nightmare, I might have to break out my cutting torch for this one lol), just slide the entire figure and backing out and take some pics!

Unless they're die hard collectors who don't even want to cut the tape on top of the box, I think they feel as if they're cutting the police seal at a crime scene or something.

They might eventually. Probably when the figures are already in-stock.
Maybe not sold by Amazon, but a third party vendor/etailer using Amazon's site.

If the 1/4 P1 sells as well as NECA hope I think another Predator will be made in the future.

I can't wait for NECAs P2 though. The only P2 figure I have is the old McF one so it's going to be something new for my collection to go with P1.

I'm actually looking forward to the P1 with the Gort mask. But I'll prob pick up alls the P2 tribe as well. And I hope they make a 1/4 P2. If not, let's pack it up and head to NECA HQ!
