NECA 1/4 scale predator

One of the biggest issues I had with Predators, aside from them recycling things that worked in the first film just because, is listening to Topher Grace swear, some people just cannot pull off saying f!@#$k and he's one of them lol.

I also found it odd that he could readily identify a poisonous plant...on an alien world to which he had never been before.

I will say Why I thought Predators sucked

first, lets look at the preds body counts
Predator 1: he took Dutch's entire team and then the butchered people the team found at the beginning, so that technically counts too
Predator 2: took out the bad guys from the beginning, then the Jamaican bad guys, took out the entire team that was trying to capture him, ( i dont know how many in number exactly but they were a lot, he killed a bunch of people)
AVP: Is hard to remember but, Chopper 0, I think Celtic killed one guy? Scar killed some aliens, the Queen(with help)
AVPR: killed a bunch of Aliens, Some Humans
Predators... Tracker,2 i think Falconer 1, Berserker, Did Berserker kill all the other ones? Trejo? and Mombasa?
well, lets say Berserker....4 plus classic
So if you look at it that way, the super preds are almost like the AVP young preds, that's what kills me about this movie, This movie could have been really great, the Preds looked Great, they were mean and cold, Berserker is one mean Mother..
BUT, the movie spends 20 minutes with people talking, then send the dogs (Why would preds need dogs to hunt WTF? thats a human concept that really pissed me off) then inside the ship talking, the action really starts when is too late, at the end
Grace, I really wish they hired someone with more balls, All I see when I see his is that skinny dude from the 70s show, but more whinny,
I wish they did the character more like Dexter, not the same but, The part of Grace could have easily been given to a child or something, he posed no treat, same with Stans
the movie just got boring fast, and the good parts Did not last long enough, I was left wanting more, I honestly think Berserker deserved better, he should have kicked so much butt, I liked the movie I didnt completely hated it, but, It is proven Time and Time again than More than one predator is a failure, the other preds just go to waste

l agree with most of what you said. l never thought of it before but you are right, what the hell do the predators need dogs for anyway, they are the ultimate hunters, so those dog things are really unnecessary. the scene with the dogs was really stupid too because all it diid was show how much those dogs are pussies. they couldn't even kill one of the characters. the one dog mauled the unarmed convict and still coulnd't even hurt him. that whole scene was dumb and a waste of time.

the preds were not the main character in this movie at all either. the other two pred movies the preds had personality. these preds did not. Example. the other movies showed scenes of the preds cleaning their skull trophies. in P2 the pred was petting his skull after cleaning it. that l loved, it just shows the pred loves his new skull. it shows lots of personality, there was none of this in "Predators". "Predators" is just people on a planet and the preds were just there to kill them, that's it. when in the other two preds the predator is a character just like the main cast, but l didn't veiw these preds on that level. this movie is like a bunch of teennagers running around in traffic and each one gets hit by a car. and in this movie the cars would be the preds. the preds just come out of no were to kill them and thats it, we don't see them anywere else or doing anything else. unlike the originals.

there should of shown more destruction and hanging bodies and such to show these preds have been killing people for a long time. if l made the movie l would of included a scene were the main characters find a storage building or something full of skulls and spines to show how bad these preds are, and the character finding a pit full of guns the preds threw away that the other dead people had. that could be a scene of the characters stocking up on weapons and ammo, but there was nothing cool like that.

this could of been a cool movie. l actually don't mind the people dumped on a planet were preds can then hunt them idea. it was just done very bad, full of bad writing, bad characters, nothing is really explained. even Fishburns scenes explaining what was going on was bad and rushed and we are still left with many questions.

anyway l know lots about movies and what makes a good movie. many pred fans will say l don't no what l am talking about but l do and this movie had too many problems. it's sad because l am a pred fan and this could have been much more. now a sequal is on the way and l know it will be better, but it will still suck if the keeps this theme of screw ups going.

yes l hope RR takes over aswell. l also would like to see a pred point of view and not just the thermal view of seeing the people walking around. l want to see them communicating and set up an ambush, then go back to the human perspective of them getting caught in it, then go back and forth a bit. like l said l want the predators to also be main characters not just these things that come out and kill someone then run off.

Just face the facts: Predators is complete and utter garbage. Everything about that movie sucked. It's like sitting through an hour and a half rant from some obsessed fanboy trying to retell the original Predator but doing a suck-ass job of it.

The Predators in that movie are intergalactic gardeners who seeded and maintained plant life on an alien planet so it would resemble Earth. Specifically Hawaii, apparently. That should tell you right there how lame that piece of ____ movie is.

And as far as Topher Grace (aka the reason why Spider-man 3 sucked) being in the movie: it was a twist for the audience. No more, no less. If you think too much about it you'll be lost in a plot hole big enough to sink an entire city in.

Dutch stopped running when he saw it was pointless and the only way he would survive was to make a stand. While I do not think this is exactly how the screen above is to be thought of the same I do think this is more of what Billy Did in Part one( it was more of an honor type thing). Cept the Yakuza Mobster actually ended up killing the predator right before he crocked.

Predators tried to use elements from the first one but threw in new ideas ( which didn't work out to well ). I do agree that I wish they made the movie more toward the Predator's perspective and didn't show the humans walking around confused for 45 minutes....kinda lame. Falconer and Tracker should have been shown much more. Overall the movie was above average and ranked better than AVP or AVPR...but still no where near the original or even the underrated P2.

BUT, since I do live on Earth, I might as well throw my brain on the floor, repeatedly stomp on it, and follow the trend.

PREDATARDS WAS GARBAGE. They just copied everything from P1, didn't have any GINORMOUS bodybuilders to fight the Predators, Edwin didn't make any sense, Topher Grace is bad, Adrien Brody is bad, and the Predators looked different, which is BAD.

All Alien/Predator movies are ____ty. None of them make any sense, every actor was horrible, they all could and SHOULD have been so much better. I mean come on, the Alien's head looks like a ____ing _____, the Predator looks like a Jamaican Crab-spider. Garbage. Didn't make any sense. Garbage, garbage, garbage. All garbage.

Watch, next they'll do some ridiculous Alien prequel centered around the fat, ugly, horribly designed pile of bones we saw in the first crapass movie.
