Actually, I take that back...I can see why you guys hated it. I get it.

It's not a perfect flick...there's a ton of crap in there...some bad ideas, and some poor homages.

But overall...in my opinion, it tried. And that's all I ask for. After ______, I just wanted someone to try.

So then obviously it WAS important.

And don't get it twisted, the bashing comes from the fact that RR threw in a homage to the original movie (for the millionth time) where Brody is shirtless ala Arnold. If not for that scene no one would be comparing Brody's physique to Arnold's.

And that's not even the main reason why that movie sucks.

I know I bash the movie BUT I dont hate it, I like it, I Own it,
Is just obvious to me that more than 1 or 2 preds is a big mistake unless you do the movie from the preds point of view,

I know Robert Rodriguez gets bashed a lot but, What did he really do? a draft of the movie that was rewritten? When I check imdb the writers come up as: Alex Litvak (written by) &Michael Finch(written by)
I dont mean to sound ignorant, but, so these guys wrote it and Nimród Antal directed? Im just wondering, sometimes the movie does Not feel like a Rodriguez movie, his movies tend to go out of the norm, tend to be a little on the crazy side, I really was expecting something like Machete for pred, I mean in terms of the violence, but this movie feels very typical Hollywood to me, playing it safe,

One thing that this movie got right was the lighting, the movie really looks beautiful, compare this to AVPR, specially the Falconer fight, the person doing the lighting for this did an amazing job, all the night shots are very clear, that I am glad they got right,

lol, yeah exactly, predators did really good in this and in their character design, but it feels like they spend 80% focusing on the human characters and on How the preds would look, it feels like no one gave a poop about how they were going to actually be in the movie, that's what kills me about predators, that it could have been amazing, if they focused more on the preds

PREDATARDS WAS GARBAGE. They just copied everything from P1, didn't have any GINORMOUS bodybuilders to fight the Predators, Edwin didn't make any sense, Topher Grace is bad, Adrien Brody is bad, and the Predators looked different, which is BAD

finally you are talking sense. also l don't think we always need bodybuilders to kill a pred. Brodys build was fine. the pred he killed just should of been wounded more so it's more believable he could of killed it.

I love Predator 2.

But still. Danny was no more built (a little bit more to be honest) then Brody. But the thing is, Danny was a cop, Royce was a merc. You dont have to be a buff mofo to be a Merc.

How come no one gives Jet Li any ____? He's small as ____, and skinny. But he kicks ass and ____....

And I JUST watched the movie...that's the ONLY thing he did that was like Arnold. He used his mind, rather then his strength, and outsmarted the Predator.

I fail to see the problem. I'll never get the hate for this movie. Ever. It's not great, but ____ it, it's not bad. It takes it's time, and has some characters.

The biggest problem with it is, it didnt take any chances. That's what hurt it. But i'd take that over ____ing AvP-R or AvP any day of the week.

Brody looked skinny. Danny did not. Brody wearing a T shirt he still looks skinny. then he take shis shirt off and you are supprised he is really toned and defined. that is it though. Danny had that more bulkier look. you can tell he is muscular under his shirt. anyway thats apples and oranges.

the thing with Jet Lee though is he is trained martial arts and stuff. so it is believable to see him kick other peoples asses in movies who don't know how to fight, so it's fine to see him kick ass in a movie. but if l saw him kill a pred or some kind of Alien l would dbe like what the hell is this.

l agree Predators is better then the AVP crap. l also agree that they took no chances when they made Predators. they brought nothing new to the table, except ugly designed preds that look like a rubber costume, they did not look real. their skin wasn't even wet or glossy, they just looked like rubber. anyway l hope RR takes over on the next one. even then l say he is the wrong guy for the franchise. his movies actually in my opinion arn't that great, they are always over the top and very forgetable. but he is all we have to rely on, so l hope he takes over and directs and gets his hands wet in the next one.
