Just the ball-joint hips, buy those are just disks. The waist just clasps together and there are slots for the disks. Shoot, those broke and someone used buttons to fix it. Jump in.

Took some more City Hunter pictures today... Shame they din't give him double jointed elbows even though they gave him double jointed knees... Oh well in due time they'll update these old ass 1/4 sculpts.

Good stuff, Jye. Could you please snap one with the two JH versions side by side, same pose? (One of these days, I'll open mine, promise.)

Re: NECA 1/4 Predator

I've had to cancel my order for this and order it with another seller who has stock so I should have it in hand next week. Looking at the photos being posted it'll have pride of place in my collection.

That would be me. Buttons worked out okay but didn't hold up. I made a more permanent solution using a scrap piece of aluminum.

Re: NECA 1/4 Predator

I've taken my Jungle Predator apart to give it a repaint and replace the netting. I'm now wondering what order to proceed. I can either paint it all, then add the netting and then stick the figure back together. I'm just scared of ruining my work once I'm done, as I had to get the plastic quite hot to take it apart and would need to to put it back together. The other option is to add the net, then stick it back together, then paint it. I can see this hindering the access to the figure when painting and the painting the netting when it's on the figure will be a huge pain.

Anyone got some advice on how to proceed?

Without experience, I'd say remove the netting, paint, put new netting on, put back together. You don't want to paint with the netting on. Will be a pain, not uniform, and you will likely get paint on the netting.

I imagine if you seal the paint with a clear spray, you won't mess up your work.

Wasn't there a person here who is going to post a tutorial on how to renet the Pred?

Sounds like the way to go. I just hope I can manage it.

That would be cool. I'll take some pictures, and post anything helpful I learn as I go.
