Thanks man!!@RogueRunner
Top work there - absolutely amazing work!
Great job with the pred. I wonder if Neca will ever release a 1/4 Wolf.
Amazing work. The color palette alone is very accurate to the screen-worn suit. I need to add the quills to mine. Any pics of him fully assembled? Also, what did you use for the netting?I started heavily customizing mine once I got it back in 2011 and it is still not done lol. It's mainly because it is constantly being improved.
I also had lots of guidance from Shannon Shea and Steve Wang for the colour palette and armour weathering.
My last update was about a couple years ago. More pics on my art page on Facebook if anyone wants to see more....It's been a long long journey.

The netting I added is an upgrade over the NECA plastic but still plan to upgrade to what you have.Cheers, that means a lot! The netting is 7x7mm fish netting, you'll want the softer nylon kind so it lays naturally against the body.
I highly recommend you avoid the plastic crap like NECA used. Its too ridged and can be a little rough on the paint job.
My netting was white to begin with. If yours is the same, just lay it out on a piece of paper and brush on a decent couple layers of black acrylic on both sides.
I noticed this also "thins" out the strands a little bit when it dries, so don't worry if the material looks a little thick to begin with.
Hopefully that helps for those looking to upgrade!
I scaled mine properly it to the spot pattern I made with the screen used for reference. I think this is as close as it gets in terms of size.
Still not fully assembled yet, I still have the heads, arms and feet left to do. I'm getting a bio sculpt 3d commissioned by a buddy of mine. I'll show progress of that when he's finished but here's a couple more I took early this morning while the lighting was pretty good.
You can see the colours a little better here:
Once again, thank you from the heart man.The netting I added is an upgrade over the NECA plastic but still plan to upgrade to what you have.
The coloring looks incredible. I still plan to add some more touches to mine (still need to do the legs as well). I plan to add the quills too. Did you mod your visor to add the reflective mesh?
Yeah I still think aside from the upcoming Prime 1 Studios 1:3, NECA did the best job with proportions and the mask in toy/statue form. Yours looks like the screen worn suit in 1/4 form! What was your process for the armor respaint?Once again, thank you from the heart man.
Like Jake said...the sculpt is amazing. Prime 1 is definitely up there now too but I still can't believe no one has quite nailed the likeness of the P1 bio yet. Although we've gotten fairly close so far, you'd think with it being such a simpler design it would be easier but they always end up looking more like Scar or a bad Hot Toys representation. There is always something off about them even if it's minor...i'm super picky when it comes to the P1 bio so don't mind me lol. NECA's is excellent but I can't help but see the "Classic" predator bio features in their sculpt since that was what it was to begin with (the battle damaged classic) they're also softer in comparison to a true P1.
So for my custom it'll be completely new. I'll be sure to share that progress when the time comes. It is still too early in development but from what I can tell you, it's going to be beautiful. Especially when he's been using screen used recasts for reference.
The bio is so important for me to get right since it's such a focal point of the character. As for the reflective lenses/mesh, I will be doing the screen used method for that too.
Let me know if you need any help with the netting and quills. The quills were actually very fun to do.
Wow — I suppose a reissue? Considering prices now, the $130 isn’t bad at all
