wow...sure makes it hard to criticize the new marine. Hope Craig wins his battle (and yes, craig is the brother of neca sculptor, kyle windrix). Cant imagine facing such a reality. Blessings be upon you. Having said that, Im not too excited about the new marine. To those who do not know craig, we just got an "army builder" marine. Id definitely rather have an army builder marine than no marine. I guess that's what it came down to? again, no disrespect to craig windrix. Im merely talking about a piece of plastic.

Agreed. Hearing the back story takes a lot out of the steam out of my gripes. I remain disappointed, but I see that as a great gesture of them toward one of their own. He'll be in my army for sure and I wish him and his family all the best.

How about:

1. The AI is borderline abysmal
2. The graphics are underwhelming and were promised to be significantly better (through the initial "gameplay" trailers)
3. The character animation and voice-over timing reeks of last-gen
4. The funds SEGA provided Gearbox with were focused on Borderlands 2 while A:CM was put on the backburner, which not only represents a blemish on the game, but on the developer themselves

Hicks alive is the worst thing ever thought up by a person. It played like a 13 year old's crappy **** fan fiction.

Even better: it played like Randy Pitchford's crappy **** fan fiction. They were so high on themselves, acting like they did the fans a favor by negating the events of Alien 3.

They did.

They didn't even explain the whole ordeal either, did they? "We switched Hicks' body with some random guy, but must have missed Ripley sleeping 5 feet away from him".

You're forgetting; that's "a longer story".

Most well-made film in the franchise after Alien.

It looks very nice.
But the area between the mouth and the dome looks something strange.
Further I have worrys about the final product, on the last Aliens the paint on the skull under the dome looks like paint from a pen.

I think they're trying to go for the look where the membrane on his upper jaw is pointed down, just before he kills Parker.
That look hasn't turned out well on any Alien piece I've ever seen. Pointing the membrane up in the other direction like a lip works much better.
