So long as it looks like the Sano Alien statue then it will be amazing, and Kyle has the skills to match this sculpt, no doubt. in my opinion the Sano sculpt is the most accurate alien done thus far, and I really hope Neca can replicate it. This would be a beautiful thing! Kyle hopefully make things right, I hope in his work. I also want the warrior and dog in that scale.

Sano pretty much nailed the likeness to Giger's sculpt for the movie, especially the dome and face. If you look at the lifesize Alien posed in Giger's museum they both look incredibly alike. I Know Kyle is more than capable of hitting the mark on this one. I have been holding out for this so really hope they nail the likeness finally! Come on kyle, YOU CAN DO IT!

Id rather forgo the jaw articulation to achieve more accuracy. Seems like that's part of the reason

The main problem is the face and the beneath skull. The teeth of the upper jaw maybe they were too large and protruding. The Sano sculpt is amazing, I hope in a similar work of the Neca sculptor.

Looks great! But no warped legs please! He will be hard enough to stand as is…

Also had the Queen ordered for me but I will have to wait until Christmas. For those in the UK I was given a release date around the 12th of December.

Well this is absolutely wonderful news!!
I remember when the yoshihiko sano sculpt came out, Kyle said he was inspired to correct some details and resculpt the alien.
Can't wait for this now!



It should pretty much look like this, except for the addition of elbow spurs , wrist ribs ( for the gloves) and paired fingers, and probably based on what we've seen so far, a rimbaldi type face....

I didn't hear of any release dates....I would like the same face too, but the rimbaldi face I wouldn't mind either since it was used when the mouth extended. But it's definitely better than the version one figure.

They've tweeted that they have the sculpt done for the Smart Gun, but don't have the rights for the actors likeness for Drake or Vasquez.
Didn't Jeanette Goldstein say before that she would provide her likeness if asked? Cannot remember.

I had one on preorder but decided to wait for a statue...lucky for me one was eventually made in 1/5, but 1/3 woulda been nice too!
