Kyle is the man. the idea of going after a more Rambaldi type alien mechanical head with the see-through lips is absolutely amazing! hope they can pull it off! while their at it, they should just make the dome removable like it is in this behinds the scenes video from the NECA studio, that way you can just have it fit perfectly into place over the head or take it off. previously it always ended up somehow being warped during the production process/glue.

Kyle definitely seems like he knows what he's doing. He acknowledges the shortcomings of the previous ones and basically echoes our complaints, so I'm looking forward to pick up the 1/4 Alien figures.

I also like that the skull detail will be sculpted rather than painted. The original suit wasn't actually like that (it was indeed only painted), but since NECA can't paint those lines without having them look like they were done with ballpoint pen, I'll take their sculpted version.

Lastly, the new jaw looks great. Glad it's no longer set so far back that he has that overbite look. God, it would be a dream if NECA took Kyle's suggestion and cast the teeth in electroplated ABS. Go for broke on this one, guys. We'll pay whatever it takes.

Yeah I've been thinking of repainting my predators. The netting is so bad, but I need some practice.

maybe a paint pen or a sharpie, I've thought about trying one .

Encline designs repaint the classic predator some years back and it had to be the best I've seen. He said the netting was a pain and he is pro.
With a sharpie may be choice, but I would love to repaint the whole predator. The elder 2.0 is real nice, but the aliens could use a touch up on there teeth

Hey guys so I've been following and collecting the NECA Aliens line and have been following this forum so I thought I would create an account and join. I have also got a few answers from NECA via twitter about the line which you lot will probably be interested in and might already seen via twitter .

1) I asked about a torn in half bishop
reply: "he seems necessary especially w the Power Loader coming too. We need to be able to complete the whole scene"

2) I then asked from that to complete the scene we would need Newt and whether they have considered
reply: "yes & the studio doesn't have her rights"

3) Someone else asked from that question about whether alien eggs will be released
reply: "Around series 5 I think"

4) Yesterday I asked whether the aliens line would ever see another synthetic / android apart from Bishop
reply: "If you mean Ash no one has the rights to his likeness from alien"

5) From that I said that I just meant in general from Ash to a working Joe in alien isolation if they had any more Synthetics in the works
reply: "we don't. We can't do Ash & we have a lot of movie based stuff in the pipeline before we look at Isolation"

So there you have it just thought I would share, its some pretty good news from confirmed battle damaged Bishop & Alien eggs hopefully this line lasts at-least as long as their Predators.
