That's incredibly disappointing. I hope this is one of their 'lies' so as to pleasantly surprise us later. Is just 2 more marines a big ask? I mean why get Lance Henrikson to sign off? A character that has zero interaction with Aliens other than being ripped in half by the Queen.

They’ll go after the rights for one of the smartgunners and my money would be on a Vasquez. In replies they haven’t said they can’t get the likeness rights just that they haven’t gotten them. I think the only one they have straight up said is unavailable is Apone.

There was also a Tweet about some Eggs and the reply was “Around series 5 I think”

There being careful is a very sad but real thing. But being too careful is a bad thing but they are making a queen that no one has. I love neca for this

Agreed. But I still think we could get a "recon" version with smart gun and a "you always were an ***hole, Gorman" version with pistol and weathering.

^ Looking at that picture in a higher resolution like that really shows how MASSIVE the Queen is going to be. Comparing her to that regular sized Ape soldier at the front really shows her size. I am sooooooo stoked for her, can't wait until she drops!

My biggest problem with the queen is going to be a dio shelf. Can't think of a universal look, the Neca dio's are very played

I remember seeing Jeanette Goldstein and Mark Rolston signing at Frank & Sons over a decade ago and they said they do not see a dime from merchandising while they were signing said Aliens merchandise for fans. While I'm sure they would be happy to approve their likeness being used, I think it's more about FOX not having to pay them to use it which is why we got generic sculpts of all of the Colonial Marines from Hot Toys as well as they generic-looking figures from Kenner in the 90's. Back in those days, licensing was an afterthought and not part of actor contract negotiations, now, it's pretty much the first thing they sign away when they sign on to any film.

Not that this helps but I haven't got and issues with any of my figures. Many people did but I must have got lucky, aside from the wonky alien knee. I figured if I got a bum alien I would custom a battle damage or superglue a super pose
