I pulled the blood-spatter off of the xeno that came in the two-pack with Hicks and hot-glued it in place after a little trimming.

Received Dallas, comp. suit Ripley and Sgt. Windrix from TRU.com. Very impressed with all of them. Especially the detail on Dallas. Just need Ripley now.

So I received my Dallas figure and his left leg keeps falling off the hip joint. anyone else with that issue? I'll have to end up gluing the end insert eventually

The right leg of one of my Hudson figures is like that. Seems that the knob on the end of the hip-peg that's supposed to keep it locked in place is deformed, causing the parts to occasionally separate.

I ended up replacing the strap on Ripley's flamethrower to allow for better posing with it.

Well I'll be damned. Guess I need to track a couple of those down for my Frost and Gorman (wip).


EDIT: Or not! $45-60 seems to be the going rate for that guy... I think my guys will be fine with only the sculpted holsters after all!

I must say, I am BLOWN away by the consistency of the eyes on Ripley and Dallas.

If only the Marines had a solid camo paint pattern like Dutch's did instead of the horrible, random blotches of paint.

Oh NECA.

Yeah I received the latest wave yesterday, pretty good paint. Only flaw I see is at the corner of Dallas's mouth. Makes the previous waves all the more frustrating with their wonky eyes, missed applications, slop, scratches etc etc

I actually prefer the application of the Marine camouflage. There's just something about the Woodland pattern that seems to prevent it from ever being accurately reproduced on solid objects...

Picked up series 4 today at Toys R Us. They all came out really great. Now bring on series 5, I needs me some more black Xeno's and that Ripley!

Surprised no one has talked about this guy yet. He looks awesome aside from the spike on his neck which shouldn't be there. Other than that looking fantastic!

Yeah, I'm really surprised they included the back spike and didn't sculpt over the hole there. Also, I wonder if the head/facial sculpt will be any different than the one we already have...
