How well does he stand though? I get the impression he'll topple over easily without the support of the tail but I could be wrong.

Man I tell ya... I REALLY want to love this line, and I do. But I'm slowly getting a bit frustrated. My frustration is coming from the quality of the Neca pieces... And only that. Aside from other issues... This week I picked up two blue warriors and they are both TERRIBLE at standing. Yea I know, use the tail and all... And I am. The knee joints are just under so much added weight from the upper body that they are super loose. I really wish Neca utilized a small ratchet joint or something to better help with the joint supporting the weight. I'm a bit frustrated about the way the legs on my warriors are warped as well from the knee to the foot on both... Just doesn't make things easier.
Sigh...

Forget the pictures. In hand it is by far the best looking big chap to date. And the lips make that. They work so well it's incredible. I was slightly worried. However on my shelf it screams big chap. Best piece I own. And it stand well, joints are solid. I did lean him against the wall in case. I would probably invest in a stand.

Yeah, the series 2 blue Xeno's had notoriously bad QC. Very rubbery plastic, bad molding, and a lot of warping and breakages were reported with those figures. If I recall, that's why series 3 took so long to come out because they switched factories due to those QC issues.

What other figures are planned to be in series 7? Was Alien 3 Ripley going to one of them or is that for a later series?

Yeah, the series 2 blue Xeno's had notoriously bad QC. Very rubbery plastic, bad molding, and a lot of warping and breakages were reported with those figures. If I recall, that's why series 3 took so long to come out because they switched factories due to those QC issues.

Man that's a shame... I wonder if there's any chance Neca will release a blue Xeno from the new factory? I hope so... Just love how they look with the queen. A blue Xeno two pack would really make my day! I'd buy two!

I know a few days ago they posted on twitter they were considering maybe doing a Warrior hive-building boxed set, so if they do that I imagine it would include a Blue Warrior.

On a positive note, the sculpt and paint look fantastic. The usual brittle, hard, fiberglass-like plastic they use miffs me, but that's to be expected. I'd be singing this figure's praises were it not for the QC issues it has.
