I think I'll definitely give the lips and tendons a little wash to bring out some detail and mute the whiteness a bit.

I want what ever alien they make now a days but 1/4 warrior is my childhood favorite. I can't wait, but alien 3 is a amazing figure as a small figure. So if they make a 1/4 it would be an easy close favorite.

A 1/4 alien 3 would be my grail piece. Hands down. The warrior would be fun too. I am curious what colors they would choose , hopefully brown like the stan winston puppet. And since they have done the rambaldi head for the big chap I wonder what uniqueness they will give the others. As long as the iconic lips are on the alien 3 figure I'll be happy.

I wouldn't be surprised if the kept the same color as the 7". It looks amazing

Probably is customized a bit. Also looks less accurate as a result. :/ I still maintain that the lips were a good call, but the only way to properly display the figure to capitalize on the lips is by keeping the mouth closed.

Me, I prefer the custom one. I would buy this version. I have the lips but also the teeth

No idea why they couldn't have had it so that the lips could be pushed up/down into recesses inside the head/jaw when the mouth was open. It will never look right with the mouth open now.

...according to the guy that posted this on Facebook is not custom, it came out of the box like that. I like it more, but I find it strange that it looks different from any other pic I've seen. Maaaaybe different production batch and they changed the lips after reading negative comments? Not very likely though
