I received my damaged Neca Queen from the BBTS Ebay store for $45 shipped today and the only thing wrong with it was the clear end of the stand was broke. I came up with a temporary solution to hold the beast and who said the McFarlane Hicks was useless, I used the stand and helmets for the Neca Hicks series 1 and for Sgt Windrix - just took a little bit of work and patience. What do you guys think? I just got into this line and I'm waiting on my Hicks & Hudson 2 packs, Ripley and the Power loader before I'm caught up.

Looks great.
I did one similar a while back.

For the space between the wire-looms l used another with a larger diameter. Usually those used to expel water from washing machines.

With the larger diameter ones, l cut them in half or 1/3rd and inverted it.
It saved a lot of time and looked more semetrical compared to free-handing it. The smaller tubes just clip right on to the edges too....making it easy to construct.

I then used some random bones l got from Michael's craft store during Halloween for the boney structures. Then just filled in the rest with some apoxy and silicone glue.

Hope you can find some use or at least shave off some time with what l did.

Kind of what I'm doing , but 90% of this is epoxy. But the good stuff, magic sculpt.. But I think you are on the right track. Any pics?

Fun figure but man he is hard to pose. In the game he is leaning foward alot. With his head way back. Just a tough figure to pose.

Ok so...as soon as I saw neca had the translucent big chap the first thing that came to mind was the giger original concept for the alien3...before the studio messed up the relationship. So I posted it and asked Randy...well he liked it soooo maybe it will happen ? What do you guys think ?

Hey that's pretty cool. True doesn't need to be articulated. But making a mould 9f that would be tough. Guess you could do it in pieces. And that would be expensive but probably worth it.

Like a couple of Aliens marines?
That's my dream and it's no brainer; no expensive tooling required, but there is a legal bottleneck to it.
Just cover the same marines as HT did, 2 done 3 to go.,
