Foamien?

Holy crap, imagine having that thing in a corner of a room.
a terrible Neca A1 facesculpt, magnified to 1:1 and made from foam=zero details... yeah that's terrifying.

Being that NECA has been doing so much with lifesize figures, I am inclined to believe it is real. Even if that image is fake, a lifesize Alien can't be ruled out in the near future.

As for price, I believe the lifesized NECA deadpool and Harley Quin were both a cool grand. A NECA lifesize wonder woman is online for preorder at ~ $1200.

I would expect the Alien to come it at $1500? Just a guess. Seems a more complicated and larger figure than the rest.

And for what its worth, I'd love APC toys in general, but I am just not sure it would be worth it. Given their track record with large items, it would be made of foam and cost $350. Moving foam parts would probably push it to $400. If it had any type of interior $600
Those are hot toys prices you are talking about. 1/12 NECA APC is not 1/6 Hot toys Delorean.

I took a chance on the foam Space Jockey. Might hold up, might not. There's no way these lifesize figures stand the test of time. Sagging, cracking, flaking, it's going to happen. Don't care what they say. Anything in the "plastics" realm is just so sensitive to light, heat and humidity. Everybody promises the moon when something hits the market, then after awhile, when it doesn't deliver, it's replaced without ever acknowledging why. Here's an example. Anybody have any of those amazing collapsible shrinking garden hoses? Last hose you will EVER need. EVER.....EVERRRRRRRRR. Shrinks so small you can hold it in the palm of your hand. Hmmmmm, a super thin plastic membrane that is going to be subject to extreme shrinking and expanding while going through massive changes in temperature. Yeah that'll last. Oh look, they're all rupturing after two years. Here's the new incredible shrinking hose made from all new materials. Last hose you will ever need. Sure, this Alien will never go through this kind of torture, but it doesn't matter. Not touching this with a ten foot pole. Wasn't stupid enough to buy that garden hose, not even entertaining the idea of a seven foot foam Alien.

Prometheus lost wave is hitting L.A. area TRU's if anyones still looking for em. Got my set yesterday, price seems a little more than usual for the standard carded figs ($25 each), but I love set so its worth it to me. Im just happy these were actually released!

Ah that's what VLAGAS was referring to a few pages back. It's somewhat encouraging, although clearly it would mean that an Apone figure would still be a couple of years away most likely.

With him ruled out as the other character being revealed at SDCC - who's it gonna be?

Gorman
Drake
Wierzbowksi
Crowe
Dietrich
Ferro
Spunkmeyer...am I missing anyone?

My gut is telling me its going to be Gorman and Dietrich.

I think it's just one character. Before the Burke reveal he said ''some'' character debuts so it means at least one more but I think 2 would be too good to be true.
