Really?! Prices in the UK are getting out of hand:

What BS. How can they even claim that's the RRP. Compare that to BBTS:

So to compare, that's:

Forbidden Planet (UK)
"RRP": $85.05 = £65.99
Price: $73.33 = £59.99

BigBadToyStore (US)
MRSP: $55.99 = £43.44
Price: $44.99 = £34.92

Almost double! Really? As arguably the UK's largest NECA stockist this has got to be doing damage to sales. I almost always buy from Ebay now where the prices aren't inflated.

And, thankfully, NECA Alien Club.

Absolutely agree, I was pretty shocked when I saw the price in the FP newsletter. Unfortunately the UK supplier prices for the new stuff on EBay also seems to be creeping up as well, a sad reflection on the state of the £ post-Brexit I'm afraid...

I actually enjoyed Covenant as a movie in it own right. However I have too many problems with it if asked to consider it a real part of the Alien canon.

Has anybody had any problems keeping the crown raised on the queen? Kind of like she is looking down. I’m not sure if mine has a loose joint or if its just the weight that stops it from staying in place. I have a rod holding it at the moment but worried that over time the slide feature may become loose.

A not so great picture of what I mean. Without the rod her crown lies flat against the back spikes.

I think the crowns on my 2 Queens can stay relatively upright on their own, though maybe not as high as you have it there.

FP had the older stuff for around £15 once upon a time, the latest wave is £31 each. I was looking forward to getting Newt but I haven't yet because I'm not fond of paying in the region of £50. I have no use for the Ripley.

Thanks man. Mine does feel loose but it should only be an issue when I want her posed like that. I’ve removed the rod now though just to be safe.
