Sounds like the whole figure is exclusive. The "Mostly" seems to refer to the fact that NECA sells their exclusives in limited quantities to non-con goers as well. They pretty much just said so on twitter.
I wonder if she will also be part of the Aliens lootcrate special edition that's coming out too.

I'm a huge dork.

I went to my local Hastings at opening time and had to have an employee get the Kenner homage Ripleys from the back because they weren't out yet. :lol So - the store got 10, and I was able to pick out the two best-looking ones, although none of them were that bad (surprisingly). The best news? All Alien figures are 30% off! I almost picked up a 1/4 scale Big Chap on the sale price, but both versions (with and without lips) had flaws. Apparently it's very difficult to glue those domes on correctly... :rolleyes2 We'll see how the warrior comes out.

All in all, a great start to my first Alien day.

I'm 100% with A-dev. The 2-packs kill the regular releases.

Neutral face Hicks leaves a lot to be desired for me and the fact he had no headset nor helmet made the figure completely inaccurate to just about every scene except the post blown trans-axle conversation.

The death scene Hudson sculpt is excellent and captures how I prefer to remember Hudson perfectly.

Truth about Hicks - I decided to set him up specifically for the game over man scene, like Hudson, but really not the first scene I would have gone for if I'd had a choice.

I feel that NECA's mass production paint blinds you. The sculpts are fine. Hrmph.

Sure, sure. On Hudson, possibly, yeah.

The proto looked decent, I'll give you that despite the ****ed up production version with painted on crazy eye brows. This looks good, I'd display it if it looked similar and out did the "game over man" head.

But I ain't giving you Hicks. Other than the hair and maybe the shape of the eyes, it looks nothing like Biehn yelling. Look at dem gums and teeth, that over bite.

And yeah, it's been BS what they've been doing with the helmets over the past couple of years. It should be viewed as an accessory, not an alternate head or some exclusive. I think at one point that was the idea.

Michael Biehn does show gum though. I'm thinking of the ''Bay 12 please'' scene, he has a gummy sort of smile. Maybe NECA saw the same thing in his scream face.

But yeah, maybe I'm spoiled by some of their other sculpts. Newt looks great here, better than those two pack heads. Whether it'll survive through the mass production process as far as paint apps go is another story . . .

He shows plenty of gums and teeth when yelling. When firing, when injured, when yelling 'kill the door'...
He is one toothy, gummy screamer.

Those don't look like the sculpt though. The mouth shapes are completely different and Biehn doesn't have a severe under bite like that figure has.

The sculpt looks more like Anna Kendrick yelling than it does Hicks from the movie and in those shots.

Randy just now: "What if I told you that Vasquez isn't the only Marine you're getting this year....

If Hot Toys won't pick up the slack and give us larger format Marines, what's the likelihood of NECA doing something either in 1/6 or 1/4?

I hope at some point we see Hicks in 1/4 but I thought they couldn't do 1/6 for some reason. Did Dutch sell well? I still see him on the TRU site so that could be bad news for a 1/4 scale human even as cool as Hicks would be with all that armor & weapons.
