I still have some, i thought they were the best thing ever before seeing Hot Toys Preds

I hated McF's AvP line... got rid of all of them. I've kept all the others, but the AvP line just didn't look good IMHO. Grid was the only one that looked interesting to me, unfortunately, it broke.

dunno which ones you got, but mine were awesome.
they were like marvel legends aliens and predators. the only thing i didn't like was the preds all had the same accessories.

that's the same thing I was thinking. weren't the pics of their AVPR figs shown way before they even came out?

The preds weren't bad, it was mostly QC issues I had on those (stuck joints and sloppy paint apps -which I'd never seen on the MM5 and MM6 figures). The aliens I really didn't care for very much. Very little articulation, not very accurate... they were just meh.

these are my McF AVP figs - i customized and repainted them because I couldn't stand the way they looked out of the package.

Unfortunately I have to get rid of them since there is just too much stuff coming out.

The preds weren't bad, it was mostly QC issues I had on those (stuck joints and sloppy paint apps -which I'd never seen on the MM5 and MM6 figures). The aliens I really didn't care for very much. Very little articulation, not very accurate... they were just meh.

They were pretty accurate....small heads, reused bodies, fleshy things...

All the Preds I got had little QC issues...aside from breaking weapons..but their paints were always good. And I still own CP from 2004.

I understand that now, but I wasn't as aware back then that proto pics aren't always how they end up, I was so naive No big deal to me now since it pretty much happens with everything

You made them look very good, maybe if back then I had the patience to have them repainted/customised I would've kept them.
