This is the 1st time I've been able to see Wolf's helmet markings on the Neca figure.

Thanks. It's a really nice figure for what it is. In the world of 6-8" figures, it's a quality piece.

Wolf is quite nice, but of the 2, I prefer the maksed one because the seem doesn't show on it, that's the one issue I have with the unmasked. Hopefully, the flaring mandible figure will be a fresh headsculpt so there is no seam, but I've got a bad feeling they'll recycle this head and just mold another facial attachment to the same skull and the seam will still show.

Great pictures Maul fan ! neca's masked wolf predator has become my favorite figure in my collection.can't wait for neca's alien warrior from alien, and i hope and pray they do an aliens queen alien !

It is, just at times, the seam on his forehead is painfully obvious. It's not cheap persay, but getting both is the best way to go as far as having it all, having both the masked Wolf can have the whip, spear, cleaner kit, shuriken, interchangeable left hand, everything.

Awesome pix guys! Anyone has the Mcfarlane Preds that they could post pix next to NECA? Wanted to see the QT difference. I got the NECA Pred and now on the hunt for some Mcfarlanes.

NECA did a little corner cutting on the head. They made one head with a spot to attach on either the mask or the unmasked face. I'm hoping it doesn't continue for the roaring version, but it wouldn't surprise me if that's just a third face they can add to the same skull.

Oh I see. If that's the case, why couldn't NECA have just released 1 version of Wolf and give us exchangeable face/mouth types as extra accesories? Apparently, like Elder_Predator2 just said, there's a peg under the face. It's more than feasible for NECA to have done that, but...

I guess they didn't do that to save money and keep production costs down. Oh well, can't really blame them for that. But I for one would have paid a little extra.

They get more money by selling the same figure twice. Why make Alien and PredAlien in 2 versions with open mouth or not as the only difference. I like the figure quality of the NECA AVPR line, but it has a strong sense of not caring about the collector behind it from the business side. This is the first line I've seen NECA do this sort of thing with.

Masked Wolf has the cleaner kit and spear, unmasked Wolf has the whip, shuriken and an interchangeable left hand. Like I said, to get the best Wolf, you kinda need to buy both to have it all.

It would have been really cool if NECA had sold Wolf as a box set. Ya know w/the different faces that could snap on to the main head. Then he would have a ++++ load of accessories, like plasma pistols, poseable whips, BIGGER spears, 3 shurikens, med kit, cleaner kit, multiple hands and so on. Then they wouldn't have three figures w/the same body, but different faces.

I was actually under the impression that each version of the Wolf Pred included the same accessories. This is a surprise, but not a good one by any means. Now I have to get both? ehhh, Neca you're rubbing me the wrong way.

In any case, you can't go wrong with these figures. The quality is top notch for the cost. Currently I only have the alien from this line, and I was surprised at how good the articulation was. Too bad Neca didn't carry that over to the Wolf. I don't really like sculpted poses.

Ya, I didn't realize the accessories differed either, but I always planned to get both anyway so it didn't affect me and left me with a surprise. Unfortunately for some, each has cool stuff the other doesn't, so it's not like you get most of the cool stuff with any one figure. I think the spear is actually my favorite, the way he holds the shuriken doesn't seem natural, though it works, and with no wire in it, the whip isn't exciting, but the spear works great for the post they made him in.

As for the articulation, I think part of that is because the right arm is hollowed out for the wrist blades to retract, which is cool, I didn't expect that on sucha small figure, and they probably figured it'd be more aggrivating to have an articulated left arm and no right than to just not articulate either.

Masked has the cleaner kit, spear, 1 plasma cannon and the med kit. Unmasked has 2 plasma cannons, med kit, extra hand, shuriken, and whip.
