I noticed the masked version is actually smaller that the unmasked. The sculpt doesn't take into account the mandibles.

It's called an APU and it's from Mcfarlane's Matrix figure line series 2.

Great looking but it's very fragile, but I bought the Sentinel off of a guy on eBay and he said he'd throw in the APU for $10 if I wanted one (must have had a job lot), rude not to at that price.

I like that instead of just being transparent, they've added the electrical arcs to make it look more interesting.

Yes I like it a lot, but I'm going to ewait and see what the acctual product looks like before buying it. I'll definatley be getting open mandible one though.

Great review, dude. I have a set of them arriving soon. Although I really doubt the Neca sculpts on these surpass that of the HT versions, I could understand how cool it is that they did such a great job at just $13-15 each.

Seeing the prototype 2up's from TF, it looks like the Predalien either was made too small or the Warrior was made too big in production.

Also, even though it's a cool sculpt. the NECA Hybrid looks pretty skinny compared to the film. The HT looks just right.

Great review there EP2, cheers, My only problem with the Alien (it's the only figure I got from Neca's line) is the cut joints looking ugly if they don't face the right way. I'm sure the bi-cep cut could've been disguised in the detail and sinews and I'd rather they did the same with the thigh cut, or just got rid of it. Only my Xenomorph obsesed gripes though, it's still a great figure for its price, and lets face it, you can never have enough Aliens... right!

Picked up a set of Masked and Unmasked Predator at my local Suncoast this past Monday, they just had 2 sets. One set was on hold for me and the other was held for another person. NECA did a great job but my only complaint is the Unmasked Preator was molded with a 2 piece head, it would look much better if it was a 1 piece mold. But I'm glad that I had preordered my Wolf Hot Toys @ BBTS.

That Hybrid Predalien looks really sweet for not beeing from HT. I think i`ll get one for my collection =)
