NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Looked through this thread pretty quick. The pictures of Elder look great, and def will pick him up when it is released. Elder has been my favorite for a long while and it would be nice to add a second Elder to my collection.

Ok, that´s quite a story and pretty awesome sounding, for an alien, I have do admit.
I´m just at the temple so far, with the first replicants.
Continued to try master the predator so far.
I wanna rock MP with him.^^

Cause that´s how the expanded universe, with comics, etc explained it and not doing that, would screw up the franchise AGAIN...

I will have to replay the ending and see it again but I don't think he did become a....

What we have to remember is games, like comics, are in a NON-Canon universe of their own. Meaning unless it's a direct sequel to a previous game or issue the rules don't apply. Obviously they can't go to crazy but hay it's just a game

Hm, well I think actually the new game followed on the 2 AvP movies, so you technically you would be right about the praetorian, but then I still think there´s the need to explain how a normal alien can evolve into a queen...

There was nothing shown, or do you think that his head showed the number in cojunction with the queen head due to praetorial status first?

conan, and terminator 2, so surely they can get them for dutch.

You're right Dutch would be cool. I own the HT one and the likeness is just OK.

I can’t wait to get the fine cuts back from China and see how the figures turn out. I’m hoping for the best quality on all these figures. You really never know how they’ll turn out.

My experience with China production is this: your production samples will look outstanding...your actual retail product? Not so much. We deal with this all of the time at my work...you really need a (good)company rep on site making sure that quality product is being produced and shipped. If you rely on factory reps, get ready for some crap...cutting corners is more important to them than quality.

They do the actual resin pieces at one place and then it goes over to the factory that will get it ready for production. From there we will get test shots and go from there. The first thing that must be what we want is the resin fine cut. It’s always fun to see it.

It drives me crazy because we spend so much time and money on rework fixing their mistakes...we are finally going to be moving small facets of our China production back here to save us the rework costs and we will also benefit from a faster turn around time. Companies really need to think twice before farming production out overseas or south of the border. It has been beneficial in some ways for us, but I think if the numbers were closely compared, it would be a wash in cost benefit.
