My NECA Wolf is absolutely beautiful for 15$.

Yep...in fact EVERY version of the NECA Wolf had perfect paint apps.

At least mine did.

Yeah, mine have spotless netting..no slop, BEAUTIFUL patterns/spots..It's sad how bad the unmasked P2 looks compared to the much older Wolf..

Whatever they were doing back then, they need to go back to.

my two Wolfs look beautiful too, I really wanted to get the transparent one with the parks painted but never found it cheap, the one where it was half transparent looking and half predator looked really nice too, but...

now Imagine Wolf with P2's articulation...

these new preds look pretty crappy to me

figures.com has posted their EXCLUSIVE review of the Series 4 collection here.

Wow, the articulation looks amazing, just everyone make damn sure you heat them up literally right out of the box before you do anything else with them.

That review is strangely positive about the paintwork - very much in contrast to what a few of us are saying here. Well we'll see. I agree with Greygoose that Wolf had better paintapps so the reviewers opinion that they are improving in this area is..well I just don't get it...unless hes talking about improvement on the earlier Predators figures.

The transparent Wolf was great. You could achieve a slightly better pose with the legs and arms.

Sculpt is still great though.

The paint job on mine was pretty well done and the open mouth head sculpt is great.

Mine is cockeyed.

Thanks guys - I'm looking forward to getting the maskless classic & Gort versions at some stage soon. I've heard lots of breakage stories etc with NECA figures, but I guess it's just luck of the draw half the time anyway. Viewing them in store is also a big plus too, so it's great that I have a local place where I can find them..

I've picked up a few of the previous Predators, but I haven't opened them. I so wanted the Lost Tribe but have failed to find them at any brick and mortor retailers. With all the tales of broken figures I was afraid to order online. Well, I did and ordered Elder Pred and luckily he turned out fine. Happy to have him but something about the build of him doesn't scream Elder. I remember him being more slender. Perhaps it's my distorted memory.
