I tweeted NECA about the 1/4 P2, and this is their answer.

Me:

"how is the 1/4 scale P2 coming along? You guys said you'll show it at SDCC?"

NECA:

"coming along well, thing of beauty, may only show it unpainted at the show but it will be there"

Sounds good, at least we get to see the sculpt

I'll be uploading plenty of close-up pics every night of the con. Did the same thing back in '10 (except I was only there for the first two days that time).

Mine broke straight out of the packaging.

What happen?

When I took mine out of the packet, his mandible ring / piercing had came off and the shoulder cannon came off the arm rotor arm but both were an easy fix.

So it's fine now.

It depends on whether or not the figure is truly new. If it isn't and a thread is already up (maybe they've just shown a teaser or merely announced it), then the pictures will go there. If it's brand-new and we didn't even know of its existence, it gets a new thread.

I want to see the 1/4 P2 painted. We know the sculpt is great, the paint is the cause for concern on him.
