I respect anyone who can speak or at least come close to speak another language. I'm too lazy and unmotivated to learn another language myself but it does embarrass me when I very occasionally go abroad and have to make them speak my language in their country...and yet if they come to my country I cannot speak their language at all.

Yes, foreign languages are always a problem.
It would be cool if there were in the future, a machine with which you speak and understand all languages.

Not likely to ever happen, there's really no direct word for word translation from one language to another. I'm so used to English, even Spanish was challenging to try and learn.

Flying cars! According to Back To the Future 2 we really should have them by now. Hard to believe the 'future' of that film is only 5 years away. Anyway flying cars would never happen - theres already enough danger to people on the ground without cars plummeting out of the sky aswell.

The people who collect 18" figures have a little more money, make $ 10 more for not much consequence.

Yeah, here in europe most of the people wanna have 18", almost none buy shi..y 12" scale (EBAY, AMAZON)

Uh... you sure that's something a 'big boy' would say?

You also realize that 18" is not the most common scale. Usually, with any company (mainstream or collectible), they use the regular 8" scale and the 12" scale (a.k.a 1/6 scale, which is a pretty popular size). They might very well do an 18" Pred, but don't be surprised if they don't do this with every other thing they put out.

You wouldn't have happened to see any Hot Toys figures by now, would you? 12" scale is a fan-favorite size and, with the right people, can be made to look quite nice. Just saying, it's a lot easier to find a good 1/6 Pred (and there are plenty of them).

I have many 18" (NECA) and two PF Statues, 1/6 would be a shame for my Collection !!

It looks so shi..y in comparison, i had one.

Its strange because I have two 18" figures and I consider them the most 'toy-like' of anything in my collection other than my 3 3/4" Star Wars figures.
