This 18" crap is getting really annoying. Coming back to this thread every so often and majority of the time theres some crap about so and so wanting a bloody 18" figure

Neca ruined "The Terminator" series for collectors !
Two 12" (arnold) and one 18" (endoskeletton) and i expect the same game with the Predator;

One 18" Alien and two 12" predators at the end

Yes, some people don't care if there is or isn't an 18" Predator. If there is one I'm sure a lot of folks will get it and love it, but they're just excited to get the 7" ones we know for certain will actually be made.

I can't wait for these 7" figures (Pred 1, Elder & Predators).

I prefer the smaller scale actually.

Yeah, what I like about 7" is that you can really build a collection of them without losing space, it's been great for the T2 line and even these Predators, I'd probably only get one P1 if it were 12" or larger and just live with choosing one head, but at 7", I'll get all 3 versions, and if NECA doesn't, maybe I'll add some blood just to mix them up a bit. The repetitive sculpts also stand out less at the smaller scale. The coloration and portrait on the Elder will look different enough you don't confuse him as another P1. And between price and scale, I might get some of the PREDATORS Preds too, where at larger scale, I'll probably just go with a favorite. Be curious to see how the NECA PREDATORS look, I gave away my NECA Wolfs because it wasn't the best pose and having the HT it just seemed excess, hopefully the PREDATORS figures are as nicely posed as the P1.

Also with smaller preds, it wouldnt cost a bomb if you had the skills to paint your own. Just pick up another pred and do a diff paint job and will add some variance. Sure there may be several with same weaponry. But you could build a pred army Not like everyone in a army has individual customised weapons

Just a idea any way since I dont have the paint skills to do it

No, but hopefully something relative to the PREDATORS figures will be coming, even if just a release date, but NECA just announced release for the T2 stuff seen at Toy Fair last night.

Stick to 28mm then, or better yet the 'real gamers' scale of 6mm... there are Pred figures in that size you know...

Yeah i got some 28mm preds. I have yet to get them painted but for there size they have some great detail
