yeah...assuming the above-posted image is close to what the finished product will look like, the holographic engineers actually look pretty good. I'm definitely coping a case of these. The urn/ampule looks stellar and I want a bunch of em! For goodness sake, I hope these things sell! Dying for a Dr. Shaw!

I understand Neca's reasons for doing this, but I can't imagine there is a chance that this wave will sell strongly enough to warrent the other figures that people want.

Hologram Engineers are really only for the hardcore collectors at this point, and even then I'd guess many of that group would only need one. Who really needs both suits in hologram form? There's not even exclusive accessories to each variant by the looks of it.

I get that people might think that these are weak compared to what we know could have been, to save this line, we will all have to buy these.
If we want Vickers and Fifield, that is the bottom line and we can't do any thing about it.
Sucks I know, but that is the business plan of any company.

@rowdylex: You are correct, of course. Its mind boggling that more people don't understand the way this works. Obviously it sucks that we aren't getting shaw/fifield in series 3. However, due to sales, Shaw and Fifield became a fiscal impossibility for neca (tooling is VERY costly). The way people should frame series 3 is like this: Its either holo engineers w urn/ampule or nothing at all. I do not believe that anyone here would rather have NOTHING at all than these figures. Plus, if everyone dives in with both feet, there's a small chance we may get a series 4...which would give us our precious Dr. Shaw! open your freaking wallets! The Holo engineers don't look too bad in recent pic and the urn (opens to reveal the contents etc.) looks really really cool!

I believe that Shaw and Fifeild will be released. This is only a business tactic used by Neca to make additional money before releasing what the people want. Put it this way would you guys buy these in series 4? Hell no! So threaten the line put out a "resolution" make some cash and the release the other series people want.

yeah, There is no way in hell these are going to sell better than the first series. I really can't see anyone that already has the engineer going for these 2 unless they are hardcore fans.
