Voorhee27 I just received an email today asking to purchase the Jakks prototype belt, I had to tell the poor guy it was sold two weeks ago, he' was ready to offer $500, wish I had a trunk load of those belts, I could retire early.

Damn dude, just DAMN! :horror It woulda made a sweet investment. Buy a case, throw it in the garage sealed. Then one day you receive a nice surprise. Does it ever work that way though? :lol

Thank god for the "Useless" Roberto Duran figure, otherwise i wouldn't have gotten the chance to make these.

Unfortunately no,remember the time i sold some? Those were two from that set i sold,i regret it but it would be very cheap to find the parts and figures again because those were the beach run figures with the Duran protective cups which are still around for cheap.
That chapter of customizing action figures are closed for me,im more than happy with my current Rocky Jakks collection.

Hey guys, I sold my belt a few months ago for $500. I have another one though. I just picked up a rocky statue 1 of 50 loose

I'm thinking the robes will fit on the neca figures...wouldn't mind putting them in the rocky collectors ring. Anyone have a 1:50 statue with packaging? Id love to see it. I only know of two people who own one. You guys think neca will make a belt for the figures?

I was about to start picking up the Hot Toys, but these headsculpts are much better -- definitely Clubber and especially Drago. Not crazy about the bodies however. If these are 12" does anyone know if the heads can be modded to fit HT bodies? Hopefully they will make a Creed as well. Need Weathers both for Rocky and to have a Dillion modded.

Just read these are 6". Arrgh! Back to HT.

could you clarify what is the prototype belt? if my memory serves me correctly I think I might have somesorta JAKKS rocky belt in storage...

It's a small belt made for the 6-inch Rocky figures in the Jakks series, rather than the larger belt made for kids! I'd love to know if you have one. Thanks.

500$ for a belt meant for the Rocky figures? For that price i assumed it was a normal belt but never got into production, and made the kids size belt instead.

Yes this guy wants to pay $500+ if he can find one, it's not the Jakks kids size belt or a custom adult size replica, it's a tiny plastic belt that fits around the waist of a 6 inch jakks figure, I think they made 30 of these but they were never released with the figures back in 2006, a couple of lucky people grab them all up on ebay, I remember thinking that there would be a ton of these on ebay, but they were all gone with in two weeks. This was one of the many bone head decisions made by that idiot at Jakks, Jeremy Padwer, with 7 series released you think they could have had the belt included in one of the figures:slap Another thing that's interesting is that people keep asking for a blue trunks Clubber from the first fight, and Jakks never delivered, Neca does it right away:gah:

To the guy complaining about the Neca bodies, come on, it's a $15.00, 6 inch plastic figure, did you expect it to be in the league of a Hot Toys 1/6. The Neca bodies are great compared to the reused Jakks bodies used on their Rocky figures back in 2006. I have a question for Jeremy Padwer, why the hell would you give Paulie, Duke and the referees the same steroided arms that you put on Rocky, Apollo, Clubber, Drago, Tommy Gun and Dixon? That's kind of funny and sad, the entire Jakks Rocky line had the exact same arms lol talk about cost cutting and cheapening the line, at least Neca's making the effort to not only get the sculpts right, but you can tell a lot of time and effort was put into getting the physiques as accurate as possible. Another topic is the articulation difference between a Jakks Rocky figure Vs a Neca Rocky figure, not even worth discussing.

there are very good customizers around.
Someone like WGP could make you a better one for far less....

Why NECA would not release these headsculpts as 1:6 is beyond me. They are fantastic. By the time they get to 1:12 and the manufacturing process much of the detailing will probably be lost.

I'd prefer they had less articulation on the body. Never a fan of cutting the torso in half and having a big ugly line through it ....though I guess it will allow for some nicer boxing poses with bobbing and weaving.

I'm most impressed that they seem to be sculpting each fighters body individually ...and doing a new body for Stallone on each movie (because he did actually look dramatically different in every single movie)

Reusing bodies is one of my big pet hates with these 6" figures and its awesome they are going the extra mile here while still keeping the price down.

I hope you're wrong on this.

Can someone please explain to me why these are at 1/6 scale for toy fair, but the released figure well be 1/12? Seems like false advertising, why would you show something that's never going to be released for sale?
