Saw all four for the first time at the my local collectable store. Not to impressed with both Rocky figures. I was OK with that because I can pick up a better sculpt (hopefully) in series 2 or 3. Did however want to pick up Apollo. Not to impressed with the pre fight Apollo. Sculpt did not capture the essence of Apollo. Face sculpt lacked character and looked boring. Was happy that I saw Post fight Apollo since I heard he was one per case. Post fight looks great and capture Mr. Creed!!!
Look forward to seeing how post fight Drago turns out!!!

It's the eyes on Apollo. I just had to get the pre fight versions though. I could only afford 1 of each, so I HAD to go with just a plain jane normal version just because.

Got my figures from BBTS today and holy sh it are these awesome for 15$ each.Alot better than the Jakks ones for sure.

Got my BD Rocky and Apollo today... amazing stuff for its price! I dont know why someone here said Jakks is better!? Whoever that was needs to start learning braille fast... NECA are churning out gorgeous sculpts!

Saw these at TRU the other day... man, what the hell happened to NECA's paint apps?!? The paint was so bad on the figures I couldn't tell which one's were battle-damaged and which ones weren't.

Are you serious? NECA's paint apps have become much much better since the middle of last year and these figures have some of the best paint I have since now. The BD figure paints are fantastic. And its coming from someone who asks the retailer to check the figure for broken parts and QC issues and all. The BD Apollo is one of the best figures of human likeness I have seen from NECA

In all fairness they didn't have the BD Apollo. But the Rocky figures had a lot of paint bleeding, especially around the eyes.

Also, I haven't bought a human NECA figure in a couple of years, so I'm not sure how bad the paint apps were last year compared to this year.

these figures are amazing...can't wait to see the other ones.
I had to buy 2 sets each...one to keep in the packaging and one to display.

Neca stuff is cool but I really wish there final production pieces looked anywhere close to the prototypes!

:goodpost::exactly:

I wish they would do one figure per series in 1/6 or 18 inch. I have two Neca 18 inch figs, Ali and Hannibal Lecter, both are great. Rocky and Apollo series one would have been awesome in 18 inch.

Problem is, the demand isn't there with most characters, and Rocky especially, other than the BD ones being in short production, I'm sure you'll find the clean ones warming shelves in stores for months, he's just not the most marketable character.

:lol They were sold out at my toysrus. They had only one "Clean" Rocky left. But a lot of the Neca products at my Toysrus seem to go fast.

As much as i want 1/6 Rocky figs,i hate sculpted clothes thanks to Hot Toys for spoiling us.Action figures like these are enough for me when Neca makes them.

Maybe they're producing less, if they're wise they will, I see the Terminator ones EVERYWHERE, same for Predators except for the classic.

I see the Terminator figures everywhere too, but never any of the good ones. The only ones ive seen in the store are the Motor cycle cop T-1000 and the Steel mill T-1000.

I see Tech Noir T-800s everywhere, and biker T-1000, never see the biker T-800 from T1, which is the one I want. I think NECA works like any toy company though, you get different quantities of each figure in a case so if a store only gets one case, and there's only 2 of the hot figure in there, sucks if you're not lucky to get one of them cuz likely, the other figures won't sell and they won't get another case until they do, which sucks, and it always seems to be the one that you figure the company has to realize will be most popular, they'd sell more cases to stores if they packed them in higher supply, like really, the BD Rocky and Apollo should have been mass produced and a minimum of the cleans, much better balance of collector demand

I don’t see any Tech Noir, Terminator figures, Predator figures, Gremlins or Rocky figures because Canadian TRU don’t carry NECA!!! :cuckoo:

I can't imagine wanting every figure released in cloth clothing. Anytime any company makes clothes to fit a 6" figure it looks terrible. They're too tiny to tailor. Hasbro's cloth capes and such on their 4" Star Wars figures sucks tool. Cloth doesn't work on everything.
