As much as I wouldn't buy it, I do applaud NECA doing the blood spitting Rocky, it's such a random figure, it took ***** to gamble on releasing that one.

NECA did a great job with these figures, I just couldnt pass on them, especially since there are so few Rocky collectibles out there.

I've been very impressed, even though I haven't wanted most of them, it's more my collecting style for Rocky, not the figure quality. It has me psyched for the Rambo line, I can't wait for that to start rolling, Rocky 4 will be like a taste of what's to come.

From the beginning I knew this was a line that I had to "pick and choose" figures. I was not interested in getting them all. I went the way of the BD look for Creed and Drago. Today I saw both Clubber's for the first time and I am happy that I went with the "blue" version. Also passing on all the versions of Rocky was worth it as the "gold trunk" version IMO is the best.
On a side note my store also had the series one Rocky's. I took the gold trunk R3 and put it side by side with R1......WOW...I'm happy I did not make that purchase. Anyways here are a few pictures. No interest in opening them.

I mainly display Hot Toys now. Not interested in too many 7 inch loose figures displayed everywhere. Love to own (i.e. Rocky, Prometheus, Gremlins, Predators etc) but I don't need them all loose and displayed. That's what HT's are for....more classy!!

They look really cool in the package, but i think it would be sweet if they included the championship belt.

If they make Rocky 2, I'm sure they'll include it, but so far they haven't made a figure of him where he wins it, Rocky 3 is from the fight where he loses it. I suppose they could have added it to blue trunks Clubber or Apollo.

Haha, i was looking at vintage Rocky stuff the other day..i only had a vintage figure of Clubber Lang which sort of looks like a MOTU figure.

I also remember owning a hand puppet that had boxing gloves that could punch and had this Hogan headsculpt(pic below) on it.

Ok, maybe it didn't have that exact headsculpt,looks like something you would find in a dollar store from the middle east. XD

Does anyone know if the heads are swappable on these figures? Like say if I wanted the blue shorts Clubber Lang head on the Black shorts clubber lang body.

I was let down today, I got my package from Toys R Us, but the idiots sent me the blood spit Rocky 4 instead of the clean one I ordered, so I'll be taking it to the store tomorrow and hopefully they can just put a new order in or something to get me the right one, I just want Rocky 4 already

No deal. That's the one you said you weren't very fond of too. It's funny how things work out sometimes. Hopefully they can straighten that out for you.
