That will cost you.
Please help me in building my SideShow Exclusive Cleaner Predator.

For whatever reason, the head won't go on his body. How do I get it on???

Thanks in advance!

fill the sink in your bathroom with the hottest water you can, then dunk the head in it for about one minute. take it out and the head should pop on easy. that's what I did. the hole in the bottom of the head is rubber so the rubber will become soft and it'll stretch with ease when you slide the head onto the neck.

Well I am pissed. Just broke the dumb piece of crap product. The hip joint broke... time to place this piece of crap in the garbage.

Sorry to hear that. I had the same head problem with my cleaner.

Look for a replacement body on Ebay. I saw some on ebay from Hong Kong.

I wish you luck ...

My Cleaner lost an arm. You can talk to the place you bought it from. I did and there talking to there Sideshow rep to get me a replacement arm or body. In the mean time i took pics and then fixed the thing with a Screw and glue. But dont toss it out there is always a fix.
On the Head grab the hair dryer and heat the bottom neckhole and then pop it on.

Thats how I did it ... I worked perfect for me. You have to be very gentle when ou pop it on. Take your time building Preds. Don´t rush it ...

Like scarbs said there is always a fix.

I was wondering what is the best glue to reattach the leg to the hip...

Also, I did take my time assembling this bloody thing.

essential tool for HT preds :lecture:lecture:lecture:lecture

I feel your pain. :(
I managed to build my cleaner wolf after a lot of patience and frustration.
but one day after seeing some of the pics on this board I decided I wanted to pose him a bit more,
as soon as I touched him his jaws fell off,
I put them back on,
I moved his leg and the stand fell in half,
then his jaws fell off,
I put them back on,
I moved his other leg and his leg armour fell off,
then his jaws fell off,
I put them back on,
I moved his arm and the little round cutting discs fell off,
then his jaws fell off,
I put them back on,
I moved his other arm and his body armour came apart at the back,
then his jaws fell off,
I put them back on,
I turned his foot and his spear fell off and broke,
then his jaws fell off,
so I went crazy and ripped him to pieces. :lol
his body is now knackered, and he's in a carrier bag waiting to be chucked in the wheelie bin.
piece of expensive tat.
:duh

my leg/hip joint broke too
for all the weight on the upper half of the body you would think the peg would be strong in the joint.. but mine wasnt. i bought a painted version of the body off of Elder_Predator2

eventually I would like to attempt a dremmel/pin/glue support on the old body.

sideshow couldnt help because they are sold out, and i never heard back from hot toys.. so you can either glue it back or buy a new body somewhere else.

this is the only product you kids need to build HT figures without breaking them.

take your time and be gentle. they are not the WWE figures your mom got you from walmart.

After building six Predators, any everyone of them going smoothly...

I really can't wrap my head around how you guys can break them so damn easily.

Adam, I go with the thought, if you don't have anything helpful or useful to add, to please keep quiet and move along.

This is not a cheap toy and I need help in how to fix it. Trust me I took great care in putting this thing together. I spent a good amount of time with it. These pieces don't snap with ease... hell, I have built way more complicated things and even created my own pieces that use a lot more effort... and the end result has been great.

No way the piece should have broken so easily...

I'll take a photo of the broken piece. I will say this, I was probably an idiot for using liquid cement glue, as it apparently melts plastic and fuses them together. Unfortunately for me, the glue didn't hold.

So now I am wondering if that was the best thing to use.

First of all, I wasn't the only one to give you a reply that wasn't exactly helpful.

Secondly, everything else you have put together - none of that applies to a Hot Toys Predator. These things are fragile as Hell, and they need 'special' attention when building. I don't know how you broke the hip joint, but I'm just going to guess you were trying to put the lower leg in, and using a lot of unnecessary force - in that case, you should have used hot water, or a blow dryer and heated the plastic up, just to help it pop together easier.

As far as whatever you have now done to it... if the plastic has been 'melted' - I think you're ^^^^ed. It might be fixable, but I think your best bet is to find a loose body on Ebay now.

Oh, and I apologize for my first response to you as well, it's just my natural reaction when someone says, "time to place this piece of crap in the garbage."
