Guys , I feel the need to discuss EVERYTHING RAMBO. I realize there is already a RAMBO thread but it seems to have run it's course for the moment. So I thought I would provoke some discussion myself. Hmmmmm, what can we talk about. Well , I just received my first pair of HOT TOYS RAMBOS. 1st is the FIRST BLOOD part II (red scarf version) which I freakin love. 2nd is RAMBO III which I think I like even more. Now the good news. I have RAMBO First Blood Jacket version and First Blood M-60 version along with TRAUTMAN coming later or early next week:horror I AM OUT OF CONTROL!!! Regarding TRAUTMAN , I really feel like I need him in the collection. To me his presence is a must along side of the RAMBOS. What do you fellow RAMBO freaks think about TRAUTMAN being included in the collection. Do you have him and what do you think of him as I have not received mine yet but am excited about putting him along side of the RAMBOS I will have soon. Also , the only RAMBO I don't have is the JUMPER. I am torn on him. What do you guys think about the JUMPER VERSION. Is it a must have? Well theres some questiond that should bring out my fellow RAMBONIANS :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

BY THE WAY , I changed the pose on my FIRST BLOOD part II fig as I was told that this pose could tear the skin under his arms after a while.

Another thing is a buddy of mine gave me the RAMBO III knife so I put it behind my RAMBO III figure for good measure. I think it looks pretty cool. Think I might get the RAMBI II knife to go behind my RAMBO II figure also. And once I get the FIRST BLOOD figs I just might get a FIRSST BLOOD knife to highlight them as well. ANYONE have any oif the RAMBO knives and which do you prefer as I noticed there is a SIGNATURE and anniversary editions of them.

Personally, unless you can get a good deal, I don't consider Halo Jumper Rambo a need figure, it uses the weekest sculpt of all the Rambos and the costume and gear had minimal screen time. As pricey as the Rambo figures are, I've pretty much stuck with the regular figures and just one each to represent each film, I know some others have bought multiples of each to have the various looks from the films and I'd love to do that myself but there's just too many things I want and I can manage getting 1 from each film so that's what I've done, as well as Sideshow's Legendary Scale Bust and Hot Toys 1/4 bust.

I like the way this guy thinks! Talk about Rambo all day? :banana Sounds good to me, just watched Rambo again on the weekend. As for Trautman, its a must forsure, you do need to get yourself a Halo version though, I mean, you have everything else so why not?

On the Rambo subject...I highly recommend the Rambo 4 knife :)...what a sweet mini machete

Col. Trautman is a MUST! :)

At this point, I fear only RAMBO based figures are what we'll see in this line, if we're that lucky, but I'd love to see Trautman revisited for a Yulli sculpt that really captures Crenna and to have him in his FB2 Army fatigues.

Well I started this thread: https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35554
So is the set worth buying? Also is $30 a good price for it?

Rambo set is worth it for that price totally, assuming you don't have a previous box set. I own the trilogy set from a few years ago which had the same features as the new one so it was pointless for me, but having watched all the extras, if you like learning about Rambo movies and the real world history behind the events the movies were based around, you can gain a lot from watching the extras.

Rambo 4 is one of my favorite films Ive seen this year....Iron Man topped it slightly...

RAMBO is actually my favorite of all the films so far. Basically, First Blood and RAMBO are pretty much tied with me for best, they're both strongly tied together so it's fitting, and then 2 and 3 are pretty much tied as they're both equally cool 80's action movies.

I would love a HT Rocky Balboa and a RAMBO fig later on, I almost think they will at some point.

In my opinion, best overall score. Jerry Goldsmith was amazing and set the tone for Rambo, but Tyler's score from beginning to end is just so moving, it touches me more than any of the other 3 overall scores, they all have pieces that I really like, but from beginning to end I find RAMBO to be great music.

First and foremost though, RIP Jerry, and thank you for It's A Long Road, one of my all time favorite pieces of classical music, totally captures the feel of a loner struggling to find his place in the world and Jerry and Tyler's use of it throughout the series to overscore Rambo's life with that constant out of place feeling is just beautiful.

I NEVER get tired to hearing the score to First Blood, the late Jerry Goldsmith was a genious! I totally agree about Tyler's work too, he is an extremely talented individual. The score to "Rambo" was very well done, it truly made the film that much more enjoyable!

Brian , did you purchase the RAMBO 4 knife? If HOT TOYS does a RAMBO 4 figure and I think I speak for all fans IT IS A MUST!!! I will buy that Machete for sure.

yes I did....ready to hack some heads off with it lol

What an interesting piece compared to the other knives.I wouldnt wait for Hot Toys to make a Rambo 4 because these are selling out quick or are hard to locate n stock right now....I think bbts has them right now for 119.99
