The only one worth repeated re-watching you mean? The other 3 you can keep in the archives... I'm not saying this to be confrontational, but the other last 3 aren't classic like First Blood is. Not by a long shot!

I think RAMBO could hold up as a lone film in its quality, storywise you need the past of the character to understand where he's at, but it was a well made film, but definitely First Blood is the best film as far as being able to exist alone and stand the test of time; FB2 and Rambo 3 are fun but as individual films they'd just be macho action flicks.

hmmmmm tempting, allthough, its not the best ive seen, the face looks...weird.

I'm getting it, especially incase HT never does him, it's 12" and will go fine with their figures.

It's certainly not as stellar in the face as Yulli's done at HT, but it captures Stallone and this could be the only high end item we get featuring Rambo himself from the movie, and even if HT makes a figure, I still like this statue, plus I hope for HT to be a "clean" figure so having this dirty statue would be cool and my favorite scene is him overlooking the battle and seeing the emotion on his face knowing so much is running through his mind. It's a 12" polystone statue limited to 500 pieces for only $150, worth it to me.

Yeah i would just lie to myself if i say ill consider it,just look at my collection, how can i pass on this statue,im getting it!:D

Not sure what it would cost, but if I'm unhappy with the paint, I might talk to Les about painting it for me, we'll see.

Also, I know his bandana is like royal blue in one of the pictures, I think the artist did that to show it in some photos, but the shipping product will be dark as it should be.

Yeah i think so too,its a no brainer. But i dont care actually, the blue one works for me.

I hope to see this on ebay soon,as i always get custom fees when its BBTS or sideshow products since i live overseas, trying to avoid expensive products from them.

Well, it's limited to 500 pieces, so with that, if they hit eBay, increased sell price could balance out the same or more as regular price plus fees. Something to consider. HCG themselves have it for sale on their site too, don't know if they'd be any better option for you. BBTS is $10 cheaper so I think I'll go with them.

Trust me,the statue wont increase in value, just check the Rambo and Rocky HCG busts, still available at the same price.Rocky is limited to 300 and Rambo 250,this Rambo IV might get more love though, hard to say at this point.

Well, I know Rambo received some mixed feelings, I love mine, time will tell, just figured I'd throw it out there though, hate to see you get shafted or anything. I think I'm going to get the Rambo 2 knife from BBTS too.

Buy the United Cutlery ones, which i have, looks much better than the ones from HCG which is available at BBTS,if you buy both youll see the obvious difference.

Im waiting for the United Cutlery Rambo IV Machete, the one out allready from HCG is very poor, not screen accurate at all,but the United Cutlery one is,since United Cutlery work close with the official knife maker that made the knife from Rambo 3 and 4.Check the link under, you will see the difference there, with some description:

https://www.cartertown.com/rivcomparison.htm

This helped me with my decision, for sure,HCG knife is no longer an option.

Hey guys which do you prefer in the RAMBO III knife. This UNITED CUTLERY HIBBEN III which does not say RAMBO III on the blade. (does that really matter) or one of the others that say RAMBO III on the the blade? Opinions please. Thanks , Mike

The ones saying Rambo 3 on the blade is from Hollywood Collectibles, the Hibben is from United Cutlery.

Hollywood Collectibles is rumoured to have poor knives, the ones from United Cutlery is a 100% accurate to the original ones used in the movies.

Allthough, there is one thing you need to know,The Rambo 3 knife from united cutlery is 16",while the Original one in the movie was 18 1/4",so its smaller.
The one i have, the hand crafted Rambo 3 knife is identical to the one Stallone used in Rambo 3,but it cost 1850$ so...

What are we talking in price though for difference? I'm final with little innaccurracies and such to save a bit. Rambo 2 is like $130 at BBTS, if the better maker was close I'd get that, but if they're $100 or more over the HCG one, I'll stick with that.

No they are the same price,no price difference,so thats a good reason to go with United Cutlery.
UC is actually a little cheaper,as they re-produced their knives recently, they cost 99$ each i believe.

Where can you buy the UC? I'd actually prefer no movie title on the knife too so UC would be the better option there it seems too.

Oh sorry my bad,Gil Hibben didnt make the Rambo 1 and 2 knives,Jimmy Lile did,Gil Hibben did Rambo 3 and 4.So for your Rambo 2,you must go HCP,unless you want to pay up to 200$ for the UC version, that can be found on ebay, but not as often as it could be found a year agoo.UC wont re-produce the Lile knives,as Lile passed away in 2001 i believe, its kinda crazy, the Lile hand-crafted Rambo 1 and 2 knives goes for over 15 000$ today, when i found out the value i totally forgot about them, yes im a Rambo fan,but im not that crazy.

But Rambo 3 and 4 knives from UC will come very soon,i suggest you go for those if you are gonna get them, cheaper than the HCP knives.

www.unitedcutlery.com is their site,im not sure when the UC Rambo IV will be out,i hope very soon.

Thanks for all the info. Of all the knives Rambo 2 is my favorite design, that long curve to the pointed end, all the serations, the compas in the handle. It's essentialy just FB knife, but noticeably larger. I'll probably get the HCG version. I may get the machette from RAMBO, not sure, might do R3 too, who knows, once I have one I'm sure I'll want them all.

Are they sharp enough to be used or are they dulled down for collecting?
