Bringing back Hudson would be farcical. No one should be seriously considering that.

I can accept if they want to make a film that pretends Alien 3 and 4 didn't happen and in doing that you can reasonably have Hicks, Newt and the original Ripley back. However, Hudson quite clearly died FFS :lol

CGI the Weaver & Biehn actors & cast a new girl for Carrie Henn's Newt Bishop could be CGI as well.. That would be the Hollywood way. Tons of makeup won't make them look younger since this flick takes place after Aliens....Or recast the 4 surviving characters.

Oh and Hudson really, seriously?

we never see Hudson die. NEVER.

Only dragged away, What if he was able to somehow escape from the Aliens' hands and run away? he was a coward the whole time so I can totally see him running away and hiding somewhere

(we never see him in the Queen's lair either)

Hiding from the vapor cloud the size of Nebraska?

Hudson was quickly cocooned -- which protects him from the vapor cloud the size of Nebraska -- and he's back and ready now to fight more aliens. :lol

Or maybe alienized Hudson with come back as the "Mouth of the Queen".

Is Ripley going to let the Queen out in order to unleash her on a new enemy? Will the Queen and Ash nod at each other before going their separate ways?

if a facehugger egg can get into their ship (and give birth to TWO facehuggers) i can buy Hudson being alive

No de-ageing would be necessary. It's not a prequel to Alien 3 and 4, it pretends they didn't happen. So they can set this film 30 years after Aliens if they want to. More if you consider that they have hypersleep during which the ageing process is halted. But considering the fact of Weaver and Biehn's age today they do have to set it a minimum of 30 years later.

Where does it end?

Exactly. Might aswell bring back Apone and Dietrich too. Their signs were real low but they weren't dead.

I love Hudson. But he's dead as a doornail. Would be the height of stupidity to try to bring him back. . .but then, considering Blomkamp's recent track record, maybe making the stupidest, most outrageous movie possible isn't the worst idea :lol

Yet it'll be pathetically serious and waaay too pompous to find anything enjoyable in it.
Been there, done that.

Oh I didn't know about the 30 year later thingy, my bad. Well if Hudson returns somehow I can understand b/c those who we thought were dead always come back........it's called soap operas. :wink1:
