New 1:6th Star Wars figure from Original Trology

I wasn't expecting Vader...honestly...so it's not a dissapointment to me, looks pretty cool!! But the price...there's really not a whole going on to justify the price-tag on this one.

You mean like the RealDoll lifesize figures of Leia (Lay-a ) yeah I know. What I meant is core characters. But you all know that. I knew it wasn't going to be Vader, I hadn't set my sights on it, but sheesh, would it hurt to do one that people recognize :LOL

I like the miltary figures and this officer is cool, but not at that price. Seriously though out of the whole star wars universe how did this guy end up on the radar this early? My nipples aren't hurting but I feel like I'm being milked. I'll pick him up on clearance in a year.

I guess its cool that these guys eventually get made but man, as a kid the most boring SW figures to me were the Imperial Officers and Bespin Guards and I don't think that has changed.

For "obscure" characters I much prefer aliens, droids, and the like.

Interesting that they're releasing such a small player by himself like this, I'd think this guy would be better off as the Nik Sant of a Imperials 3-Pack. The uniform looks great though, if they ever do Trakin or Piett, those will look great.

Honestly though, you guys. Think of the big picture.

This guy is going to look so awesome when we get stormies and Vader. He is going to look so KILLER.

The ANH black uniforms are among my favorite designs of the OT.

I am not one bit disappointed. Now I can hope that the first Vader will be ROTJ or ESB. Those are the ones I wanna use my points on.

yes, yes. to pix you listen! I eventually want to be able to get my Vader for free.. hm maybe that's what they are holding back for? Im sure SS knows the price Vader would be, and I know they can track the amount of points one would have if they were a completist and ordered one of every exclusive figure. Maybe they are waiting until those that are completists would have enough points to get Vader for free.

why oh why do they release these obscure characters?
I know that they will be cool to have when we get a vader, but come on!
they should be releasing vader first then the supporting cast around him, more people will buy the supporting cast if they know for sure that they have the main guy to build around. And at this point we just dont know when or if we will ever get a vader from Sideshow.

I would never even imagine seeing Vader released outside of either Toy Fair or Comic Con, so he wasn't on my radar for Spooktacular. I am glad to see this new figure!
