I thought Praji was the rat-faced guy walking through the corridors with Vader. The one who tells him "holding her [the princess] is dangerous" and "she'll die before she tells you anything." At least that's who I thought he was, but maybe he isn't.

It's this guy.

And it barely looks like him, if at all.

I guess I just don't understand the reaction to this figure. It's still a great figure, and of something we hardly saw from Hasbro and others. It's a great uniform and great accessories. And it at least gets us closer to the figures we really want.

But making a fuss about it and whining fixes nothing. It just makes us all (SW fans in general) look like spoiled brats that have to always get what we want. Just sounds a little childish to me.

I'm with you there brother, this is a great figure and I LOVE the uniform, it is an unexpected move by SSC but a welcome one nonetheless. :rock

I really love the look of this figure... and the pose in the video is classic. He's a great addition.

You know what's hilarious? Some of the people who complain about the fact that Star Wars gets way too much attention from Sideshow over other lines being among the first to defend the announcement of a figure like Commander Praji. It's almost like they hate SW fans so much that they're happy when SSC announces a "meh" character.

"Yeah, take THAT Star Wars fans! Instead of Vader or something else cool you're getting.... this guy... for $60! Suck it!!" :lol

Don't think I saw that anywhere... if anything the sentiment I've seen from fans is the more the merrier when it comes to figures.

I sure as **** want a Vader (and know we'll get one) but I'm severely put off by whiners who piss and moan because they don't like the figure choice. Too many of them were out in force yesterday and it was lame!

Anyone else find seeing this figure putting the Imperial design in a spotlight really has a strong Nazi feel to it? I think Lucas intended it, but with SSC replicating the uniform so nicely, and seeing a long officer like this, really makes the uniform quite creepy looking actually, the figure looks scarier than the film soldiers.

I have always thought that the imperial uniforms looked Nazi-ish and yes I do believe it was intentional.

That was the first thing my girlfriend said when she saw this guy, "Wow, he really looks like a Nazi," so I think you're spot on with your statement. The Imperial uniform in black is REALLY reminiscent of the Hugo Boss-designed SS uniform.

It will be interesting to out Prajj next to my 1938 Kroenen and Red Skull figures for comparsion, since they're both wearing the basic SS parade uniforms (well, will be, as I'm waiting for my Skull head to get done by DA).

Lucas has long presented the saga as a parable about how democratic governments degrade into fascist dictatorships through corruption and complacency, so the similarities to many facets of the Third Reich are definitely purposeful, and can be seen elsewhere in his work.

It is interesting that, even though they're happy-go-lucky adventure films, some horribly despicable things are perpetrated by the Empire (slavery, genocide, torture), or even just Darth Vader, for that matter.

Even before he was a "bad guy" he slaughtered a number of Tusken women and children. Add all the Jedi children he offed in ROTS and, just ick....

And they both had Stormtroopers... I think the entire Nazi influence was 100% intentional.
