I know Jim Lawrence. He does amazing paint work; not screen related, but very detailed and fascinating to look at, almost like he used one paint brush with multiple, separate colors at once and swirled all over the surface of what he paints. Crazy.

The Wolf head is huge and makes it look pretty small, but it seems to be slightly more than half the height of the statue, so that's good.

How tall is it, and how long is the head?

Somebody stop me. I'm starting to get ideas of turning that 1/3 bust into a full body statue. I figure the hardest parts to get right are done already, so it's just a matter of sculpting the rest. Only problem is my sculpting is limited to doing custom re-detailing of small sections of things at a time with 2 part putty. Could I actually pull this off?

If you do it right, you should be able to make the rest of the body a separate piece. Then, if you're not happy with your work, you'll still have your pristine original!
