I'm getting nothing in the way of email notices.

Mine ships to Oklahoma by the way.

Do your notices come via Yahoo? If they do, I suggest you switch to something awesomer like gmail.

When I was on Yahoo, I never got notices, but since I got gmail I haven't missed a beat.

No. I've got an MSN account and haven't had any problem with notices in the past. The last one I got was that Luke was going to arrive at the warehouse soon.

Seems like typically the notices are received first on the East Coast and they make their way west, while shipping wise, the West Coast tends to get them first and it goes east from there.

That makes sense. Send 'em out east first to try to atleast mitigate the shipping time a little.

If you have Yahoo! go to the SSC site and add all of their addresses into your address book, its easy, they have a how to page. Once it happens you get every email without fail.

Yup, that's how it usually goes, though last year, I remember getting my Darth Maul shipped ahead of people in the WC, so I'm sure there are the occassional exception just to keep things fresh. Holding out for East Coast representing on this one

Since I'm in Canada, I received a notice saying both Luke and Leia will be shipping together to save on my shipping. COOL!

Accorcing to Sideshow...the items are shipped to people in the order that the people made the order. That can actually cause some people to get their's later than some people who ordered after them. One possible scenario for this could be:

Person "A" lives nearer to Sideshow than to the shipper's hub and made his oder earlier than person "B". Person "B" lives farther away from Sideshow, but closer to the hub. Sideshow processes person "A"'s oder first, but both orders leave Sideshow on the same truck. Both orders leave the hub at the same time, but because person "B" lives closer to the hub...he or she gets theirs first.

The moral of this story is...you just never know what order they will be delivered. And guessing will just waste your time.

That being said...guessing is still a good way to help pass the time.

By the way, Pix - I am in the section of those who ordered at the convention. Just wanted to add the time stamp to it.

A guy on RS called SS and thats what he was told.. But it seems to me like they give out different info depending on who you talk to, so who really knows?
